This is very misleading. Your understanding of yin yang theory and 5 elements is rudimentary. At best. There is not astrological correspondence but there is a time of year correspondence ( ie) spring, fall etc. It’s like saying we should get rid of the months of the year because of atrology. How do things move and function in relation to time and space. How are you out of sync? Now there are many practitioners that do veer off into weird places with this. And it’s good to be mindful. But if you have seen the evil coming out of the pharmaceutical industry lately? I believe natural medicine is a needed alternative. Also did you know in China when the Bible is translated Christ is translated as the Tao. Because he is the way. The beginning of the Tao de Ching and the beginning of the book of John say the same thing. Christ is the way- he is the embodiment of the the Tao/logos. But you should not dissuade others from receiving care which can help them greatly and does nothing to threaten their spiritual salvation.
Thank you, Jason, for taking the time to respond to this interview. I’d like to share a couple of observations with you. First of all, you’re absolutely correct in saying that Jesus loves our Chinese and Hindu brothers and sisters. He loves everyone! He warned us in Matt. 24 not to be deceived. As a practitioner of TCM, which is based on spiritism, astrology, and divination (all of which are forbidden by God--see Deut. 18:10-14; Is. 47:13-15), I was deceived. When these things were brought to my attention, at first, I was deeply offended. But later, I asked the Lord to show me if I was being deceived. And He did! I now ask you to do the same thing. Ask the Lord to show you if you, indeed, are deceived. I pray that you will open your mind and heart to the truth.

Hi Evan. May I ask, are you a Christian? If you are a Christian, then you will understand that the theories of Qi and the five elements are not compatible with Christianity. You allude to them as “scientific” more than once. They are not scientific. They are theories based in mysticism, divination, and spiritualism. While acupuncture may not be practiced with overt religion, the foundation of acupuncture is Taoism. Taoism is a religion that is incompatible with Christianity. I was once where you are and can relate to your perspective. I just ask that you will seek the Lord and ask Him to reveal to you whether or not you are being deceived. Have an open heart and an open mind and the Holy Spirit will lead you into all truth. Thank you for taking the time to respond to the interview. May God lead and guide you.
@@yvonneshelton9975 Thank you for your concern. I am certain there is no incompatibility with Christianity and my Acupuncture and Herbs practice. It was to them I prayed and eventually got healed. They've been with me everyday, ceaselessy (as in prayer and meditation) as I 'be continued to heal and grow deeper in my faith. Another acupuncturist in another forum observed that the medicine we practice may not be too far different from what Luke may have practiced. Luke as you may know was a doctor and author of his namesake gospel as well as the book of Acts. He may have used herbs, cupping, and bloodletting which is forerunner and rudimentary form of acupuncture.
I am a Christian and I am concerned that you may be grieving God by not ascribing to Him what is His. God as the creator of the universe created Qi and the 5 element construct of human health. (They are real, they are scientific and they are a great example of Intelligent Design). You ascribe too much to the Daoist traditions of acupuncture. While being sophisticated and graceful these traditions operate knowingly and purposefully in great ignorance of the truths revealed in Christianity. Paul in Romans chapter 2 says that all people worldwide intuitively recognize God's work and blessing. But are inadequate in their understanding outside of the law. It is the same with Taoist traditions. They understood these creations of God, but inadequately so outside of God's truth revealed through Christ, the Holy Spirit, and Holy Word of the Bible. Now, I ask of you Are you grieving God and Holy Spirit with an inadequate acknowledgement that God created Qi and the 5 elements? Are you grieving God by not utilizing your talents you had in this medicine? As Paul stated we can be gifted with singular and unique spiritual talents. Some are gifted with healing, some for prophesying, some for encouragement, etc.. Are you grieving the Holy Spirit by denying patient's to get healed by this God given medicine? Are you grieving practitioners who have this talent of healing in the name of the Lord, to not let them practice this medicine? I am glad God has saved you. Perhaps He has better use for your talents outside the practice of acupuncture. Great, use them. But please don't grieve others of their God gifted talent. I hope you can take this message to heart in your soul winning endeavors. I hope God blesses you in those endeavors. Sincerely, Evan Mahoney
@@transcendentalacu Hi Evan. Thank you again for your candor and sincerity. I must tell you, in tbe spirit of Christian love, that you are the one grieving the Holy Spirit. Taoism is absolutely the root of acupuncture and TCM. Taoism is a religion that is not compatible with Christianity. When involved in a practice, we must always consider the root of that practice. The root is going to determine the fruit. In the Bible, it says in Matthew 7:17 that “every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.” Acupuncture and TCM are the fruits of Taoism, and therefore should not be practiced by anyone professing Christianity. In Deuteronomy 12:29-30, it plainly states: “ When the Lord your God cuts off from before you the nations which you go to dispossess, and you displace them and dwell in their land, take heed to yourself, that you are not ensnared to follow them, after they are destroyed from before you, and that you do not inquire after their gods, saying,’How did these nations serve their gods? I also will do likewise.’ “ Dear Evan, I am concerned that you have been ensnared by syncretism. Again, at one point, I was very defensive about my position as a Christian acupuncturist. I really felt as though I was not following the precepts of eastern religion, and could therefore practice acupuncture with a clear heart. But the Lord revealed to me that it is not a practice that I should be doing because the root of it was, indeed, antithetically opposed to Christianity. One of the things that convinced me was an article online referring to acupuncture as “astrology with needles.” As you probably know, astrology is strictly forbidden in the Word of God. I just ask that you will seek the Lord and ask Him are you being deceived. It is not my job, nor within my capability to convict you of this sin. That is the function of the Holy Spirit. My job is just to share the truth of God‘s word. May God bless you as you seek hHm in spirit, and in truth.
@@yvonneshelton9975 Thank you Yvonne for your sincere and thoughtful reply. I appreciate this discourse we are having. Might I suggest that the true root of acupuncture is God? You may be stopping short when you ascribe the root of acupuncture to Daoism. Daoism is not the root of Acupuncture Medicine. God is. Long before Daoism, God created Qi, the Five Elements, and the Intelligently Designed Human Health constructs these entail. Again Daoism recognizes this God Given construct. But inadequately so. So it is with all deviations of "sinful acupuncture" such as with "Astrology with Needles" divination. Yes, I reject that absolutely. Daoism is not the root of Acupuncture Theory. It did not create acupuncture theory. God did.

In fact the Lord Jesus Christ and Holy Spirit led me to acupuncture when I was in the midst of a decades long serious illness and prayed for healing..
Now, I ask of you
Are you grieving God and Holy Spirit with an inadequate acknowledgement that God created Qi and the 5 elements?
Sincerely,
Evan Mahoney
God did.
Shenmen acupoint's shen doesn't mean the Triunion God, the Father. eg. sleepy eyes = tired/ no shen; early in the morning you're full of energy, this is full of jing shen/= full of beans, motivated, alert. ..
Since you are presenting all this information, also about yoga, I'm curious about breathwork. thank you
Well, I was not so aware of Acupuncture relationships; but I had a personal relationship that I thought might reignite, with a woman I had dated years before. I was feeling pretty optimistic until I learned she had become a REIKE master. Now I was not familiar with REIKE at the time but I began to read up on it right away. I got uncomfortable immediately because the healing was not credited to God! So this began to unravel my infatuation to the point I did not think I should pursue the relationship further. I am glad to be affirmed on my suppositions. Thank you for sharing Ms. Lewis!
Thank you, i am a muslim and we cant have idolatry in islam. When I have acupuncture I feel good for an hour but when I start praying I become very upset and I feel like saying tao tao tao and start questioning my faith. This has happened several times. I think it maybe demonic now.
What would be your warning about doing Mckenzie exercises for disc pain that seem to resemble the Yogic Cobra and Sphinx position. Most Western p.t. and dc s recommend this w/o any eastern reference. Also dry needling for pain and trigger points.
I haven’t researched these exercises, so, unfortunately, I can't comment on them. Dry needling IS related to acupuncture (in spite of some of the literature saying otherwise). Do your research prayerfully. The Holy Spirit will guide you.
@@yvonneshelton9975amen!
Yin and Yang do not equal good and bad/evil. That is a distortion and a completely incorrect assessment.
Thank you so much for your testimony Dr Lewis. ps You have such beautiful hands! I think Jason is your favoutite son 😂😂.
Praise the Lord, Ziyanda! Thank you for your kind words. By the way, I love both of my sons dearly! They each have their own special place in my heart.
Thank you Mrs. Shelton, I appreciate hearing this!
God doesn't do evil but He has the knowledge of what's good and what's evil.
I love your stores it has teaches me a lot thank you God bless you and your family
Satan cannot heal
This is REAL good stuff to know!! PRAISE GOD FOR NOW I KNOW THE TRUTH ABOUT ACUPUNCTURE AND YIN AND YAN SYMBOL!!!!!!! Yin and yan was a symbol I always had on t-shirts I wore and thought it was ok it just a symbol so again, PRAISE GOD FOR WAKING ME UP INTO THESE KIND OF THINGS AND THAT IS INTO HIS TRUTH!!!!!!!
The only difference between saying Yin and Yang or Yum and Yeung relates to language. Yin and Yang are spoken from Mandarin and Yum and Yeung are Cantonese.
Really Yvonne Shelton's explanation of this symbol is nonsense.
When did Yvonne became mrs.Shelton
😳
This ignorant bigotry based on erroneous teachings passed down through corrupted traditions does nothing to aid christianity or humanity.
And now I am now hearing you say that at the Attunement they felt something come into them"... could that not have been God?... I do agree with one thing you said... "In later times some will DEPART from the Faith".... Well that is the club that you have NOW embraced.... You have turned you back on God and being the healer He allowed you to be and now are spewing misinformation... How Christian of you...
It sound like u need confused and need deliverance. Dr. you miss the witness apportunity: Revelation 4:3 And the one who sat there had the appearance of jasper and ruby. A rainbow that shone like an emerald encircled the throne.
Baloney, TCM is a wonderful medicine.
Thank you for this, very comprehensive and wonderfully informative coming from the inside! You should re-post this! there needs to be a great awakening with God's people! we need to realize we've been dipping our toes into unholy waters!
It’s not comprehensive. It’s fear mongering.
Praise the Lord, Lizz! He doesn't want His children to be misled by what is culturally popular or prevalent if is conflicts with His Word.
Dao is the Word- in the beginning is Dao. John 1: I-4 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God.
All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
Good lord, y'all sound like a cult to me!
When you allow a religion to control your thoughts and fears, you're giving up the gift God gave us to use our own better judgment.
Jesus teaches LOVE and acceptance.
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
Y'all have lost yours.
