Hey Prof. So I have final exam coming up(MATSE intro to matse ) but my prof didn't provide any material to review before the finals (and I can't review my old exams cuz apparently we can't have our exams back). Can you provide any links or pdfs(like old final exams) or anything to review the old material because I'm trying to reread the whole book again which is extremely inefficient in my opinion.
Hi David, here are some links to my final exam review sessions from years past. Hope these help! th-cam.com/video/Cwm45MG71_E/w-d-xo.html&list=PLL0SWcFqypCni--cQcrcRq4jTKoprDx-Z&index=47 and th-cam.com/video/bqtfShXKE_I/w-d-xo.html&index=34
wrt why BTO is a good dielectric, why does having 8 nearest neighbor atoms mean that a larger atom can sit at that site? Would a larger atom want less neighbors, that wat it "feels less congested".
A larger atom can fit more atoms around it. BTO is a good dielectric because of a couple reasons. First, high valence Ti4+ means a shift gets quadruple charge benefit. Hi valency also means that this will be a small cation allowing it to rattle around in an octahedral cage.
Halo Prof. I'm Research Assistant from Indonesia. Can you share the references that you use in this lecture?.
