I played the prior installments to this series as a kid and they were the most batshit fun I've ever had doing something Soccer related.
That's not saying much.
even though nintendo clearly has never played or watched soccer, its okay, since i havent either. so looks 100% legit like a real soccer game.

Extremely fun game that could use more content and characters.
This game is honestly a blast. It just needs more content.
You gotta love how nintendo releases games unfinished and then releases the missing content as free updates.

Strikers is one of my fav multiplayer games for the switch, it’s actually fun and it’s optimized well for a Nintendo game. They just need to add a new gamemode

Me and my brothers had just a hell of a fun time playing the original on the Gamecube. Now I can't wait for my son's birthday this weekend where I can enjoy this game with him.

The first was fun af. Womder if they'll bring back all the sports games like they had for GameCube. This and tennis was my fave of the entire sports line
They made a tennis and golf game for the Switch.
It would be a purrrfect opportunity to do a Stray honest trailer.
Supermario Strikers on the GameCube to this day is SO much fun
Couldnt wait to play it, because it was one of my favorite games on the gamecube. Welp those nostolgia goggles got ripped clean off.
The old strikers games were good but this one has missing content and the fields have no gimics. But hey! Nintendo will add all that in free updates when no one cares about the game anymore!

It’s weird that this video never mentions that this isn’t the first Mario Strikers.
Loved the mario strikers on gamecube even the wii version i could find some joy in but this.! This right here is just pain first 5 matches are cool and fun but then thats it everything the game has to offer is over. Makes me miss game rentals losing $5 is one thing $60 is a whole different one.

maybe it's the nostalgia but the best "soccer game based off of another game" that i've played was Mega Man Soccer on the SNES. i almost bought this game because it reminded me of that one but i'm glad i held off on that. kind of wish they'd make another Mega Man Soccer game. i remember it being fun and as long as they don't mess too much with it or try to make it too weird it could still be fun
