Karen, the comments section of my YT channel back room is lit up with all your red hearts....thank you so much for that silent but effective & heartfelt endorsement of what I'm trying to do with my channel & content. If you're a new subscriber, welcome aboard! Hazel
Hello, thanks for reaching out. If you don't mind, tell me your first name so I can properly address you in the future. In the meantime, do you think I have enough labels or should I buy, print, fussy cut a few more million??? Hazel
Carrie, I've done little else but turn my space upside down in an attempt to bring like with like, see what I have, and make it easier to find & use. Pray for me...lol.
I love the typewriter keys also.. I saw tammy Renee at cyndi Duncan's sale and congratulated her on her 2nd prize win. That was Wednesday and she said what?? So she went to your video and then came back and said you didnt tell me that you won also so she congratulated me . She's been feeling poorly but she knows hazel😊❤ so I hope she contacts you. She may be contemplating her wish list. This was relaxing to listen to while I worked on my neverending journal. I tested for covid today but it was negative. I was surprised cause I'm sick. My doctor will be calling me soon. I hope it's not pneumonia😮
Oh, Suzy...I'm sorry you're not well. Negative Covid is good. In Canada we can get /are encouraged to get a free pneumonia vaccine at 65. I think there's a lot of respiratory stuff out there these days so we need to be on guard. There certainly seem to be more threats out there now than ever before. Take care of yourself. I don't know Cyndi Duncan....omg I just realized I haven't followed up with the other lady you connected me with....please remind me of her name...sheesh. H
Those clamps are adorable. I have issues holding anything tiny because my hands are numb.🤔 Maybe I need to consider getting some. I want to ask you a question. How do you organize your ephemera, fussy cuts, labels, etc? I have tried twice by eras then by categories. Way to many categories. 😂 Great containers for sorting. Columbia records brings back memories of my parents protesting "do not order those", and then ordered some. I will be praying for your grandson, Hazel🙏🙏🩷🩷
Hi Tammy Renee, first of all I can't imagine numb hands. Numbness anywhere is such a creepy feeling & I think somewhat dangerous too because we can't feel if we're being hurt. How in the world do you hang onto anything without dropping it? Is that an ongoing issue or just temporary? Is anything being done to fix that? Now, I have to worry about your poor hands. I'll say a prayer for you. Well, first of all if you watch all of these organizing videos of mine, you'll see that no one solution works & I think most of us keep changing our systems in the hope of finding the perfect one which doesn't exist! The root cause of the problem is that we all have too much and/or aren't using it up fast enough. Having said that, I just did a video last night for later this week that shows my zip pouch solution for ephemera. It holds much larger quantities yet is portable enough to bring a pouch to one's table. Maybe that will help you...fingers crossed. I hope you're pursuing solutions for those numb hands. Hugs, H
@hazelanakadesign7071 Hazel, the zip pouches are what i've been doing. my problem is categories, I think. 🤔 I had too many categories. Antique women, vintage, Antique children, ect. Get my drift. I am working today on combining some categories together. That's a start, because until it's somewhat contaminate, I will never start doing what I want to do. 😅 Oh, don't worry about me. I have severe damage to my carpul & ulner nerves. They operated, which took some of the pain away, but they said the nerve damage was far to gone. And yes, I drop everything. Glass & knives, blades are not my friend.🤣 I use plastic when I can or something with handles. Easier for me to pick up. I broke so many coffee cups that i started using the Contigo cups with no spill, plus my amazing wife opens everything for me. I will go back & watch. must have missed some. Tyvm hope your grandson is doing better.🩷🩷🩷
@@tammyreneewalker5244 Well...I have many categories too & there is cross-contamination (cross-pollination?). Here are some of mine which I file alphabetically: advertising, art, animals, bees, bugs & butterflies (together), buildings/interiors, men, women, children (which includes moms/kids or families), wedding, Victorian, school plus more. Really BIG categories (farming, tea time, fairies, etc) are in boxes/bins & include fabric, ribbon, book pages, etc. You may be hoping for the impossible. My husband had carpal tunnel surgery done years ago. I remember when the neurologist hooked him up to the machine with the electrical current & how very slow his response was to the stimulus. He used to burn himself bec of the slow reaction by the time the pain response was felt. So there is no answer to nerve regeneration other than a loving helpful spouse like yours and making adaptations??? What a drag. Kade's fever is gone, he went to school on Friday, & hockey today. Take care, kiddo! H
Good afternoon Hazel. I hope your grandson is feeling better. Wonder if they have cheecked him for Mono. My son had that when he was in the 5th grade. We think he got it during football via the team water bottles. They sent him home from the Drs office and undiagnosed and the next day he couldn't even turn his head.
Hi Teresa, I just found out that the fever is gone & he went to school Friday, They're on the way to the rink to see if he can play hockey today. Thanks for asking! H

Hi Hazel, love sorting and love labels. Great share thank you💕💕

I love the sorting- specially when you are working along too! Hugs and happy weekend friend!
As my sorting saga continues, I'm less inclined to buy anything more. Any bets on how long that thinking lasts?
Love this video! Gosh I need to get my organization together in my craft shed. Thanks for sharing!

you got lots of little bits and pieces to sort and use up! yeah there is something about people sorting and organizing that is almost hypnotic
Caroline, you are getting sleepy, very sleepy....lol
