Jimi (who will soon be known as Odin) has been adopted into a fabulous forever home with 2 very wonderful cat loving parents (Meghan & Suad) and Lucius, their big sweet orange kitty. We could not be happier with Jimi's placement, we had a lovely visit with Meghan and Suad when they came to look at all of our foster kittens and we look forward to getting lots of updates about Odin and his new Valhalla that he will surely rule over quite nicely!
This video shows Jimi when he was about 4 or 5 weeks old getting what he loves best, lots of love and attention.

She's obviously being sarcastic. Vegans aren't the only ones who are good to animals, but at least they sure aren't hypocrites to accept the idea that only cats and dogs are powerless and vulnerable. All animals are sentient (capable to feel), all animals feel fear, have instincts (maternal, survival, etc.), desire to be free, to not suffer, to feel safe. It's amazing how people still live in this fantasy where they believe they have the right and the power to decide whether an animal has the right to live or die, whether it will suffer or not, whether it will be free or not, whether that animal will serve us as food or as a pet (thus arbitrarily deciding whether it'll live a life of suffering and horror or a life of happiness and comfort). It's amazing how people forget so easily about the powerless and the vulnerable when they're eating their pizzas and their hotdogs and their hamburgers.
What if the most powerless/vulnerable isnt as cute as this cat

Cats are wonderful little miracles. I’ve been working with cats all my life and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Cats can relieve stress, anxiety, depression and they enrich our lives from simply sitting on our lap and purring. Dogs are cool but cats rule!
