Cograts Brad! I also plan to move out of Belgrade to a small Serbian town, Loznica. You visited Loznica a couple of years ago, I saw that video. Long live small towns!

Central Serbia is really a super nice place to be in this world today! If you are younger and apt for nightlife and metropolis vibe, Belgrade IS what Europe capital, that European capitals ought to be. Novi Sad also. But if a bit older and if you can work remotely, it's great to wake up in some forestry mountain town thousands years old, where you can get everything, but no fuss, no hurry, you can go hiking, biking, get lost in engulfing quiet woods nearby, and each of them have some local river or stream you can go fishing or kayaking or just bask in sun on weekends... When I have time and funds, I often visit Sumadija for pure rest. And as for food - smaller towns often have more and better traditional food made from things found in area, which makes it cheaper, and recipes are more original and sticked to than in Belgrade, where quantity is more important than quality. So, good choice Brad, hope you enjoy Krusevac!

And now You can rightfuly say that you really have live in Serbia, my friend! Do you know that Kruševac was the capital of the Serbian Empire and Serbian kings until 1389, and until the Kosovo battle with the Ottoman Empire? And now Kruševac, although not a particularly big place, is the hometown for various pro-Serbian nationalist movements. I personally adore Kruševac, although like you, I travel a lot, and I have seen many magnificent cities, Kruševac has always had an aura of peace, tranquility, and security. (Not to mention I was born nearby) So, in order not to ramble too much, welcome to us Brad.🥰💪🍻🇷🇸❤️🇺🇸🙏😇😎

I haven't had any trouble opening bank accounts. You fill out a W8 or something, I forget, but it's true not all banks want to pay for the IRS reporting compliance so sometimes options are limited but you can always find a few banks in each country that will take you.

Hello, why don't you try to learn the Serbian language, if you really plan to live in Serbia? If it's not a secret, which part of the USA did you come from and what do you do while you're here? Is it so bad in the USA that you chose Serbia, which is irrelevant to American citizens, where the majority of your population does not know exactly where it is in the world. I believe that there are many countries in the USA that would be more interesting for you to work and live in than Serbia.
