- This VFX Workflow is Unreasonably Effective. Today I'm showing you how I made a scene of myself (and my body double) laying waste to a group of Clone troopers from Star Wars. This tutorial features my full workflow for making the scene.
I used Blender and Hitfilm Pro to create my VFX.

That was a pretty brutal scene. I liked that the clone troopers felt more like real people and not just mindless bots. Pretty cool!

Hey there! Another blender tip I have for you is that if you go into object constraints for the plane (of your Jedi) and click ‘track to’ and choose the camera, the plane will automatically face the camera, no matter where you move the camera! 📷 🤟

I remember making lightsaber effects frame by frame in the GNU Image Manipulation Program like 15 years ago. The footage came from a 720i 24fps camcorder.

Hi, i guess you need to delete trash called "antivirus" if you sure you installing legit software from legit source, you don't need "antivirus" its just does disservice for you.

Love this. Great way to highlight that hobbyist VFX films are possible without needing to have loads of equipment (lighting, etc) or deep technical knowledge and ability (eyeballing the focal length worked just fine).

Hey I was trying to make something similar to this today and I've come across the issue of the clones not being animated on Mixamo but only importing in the skeleton and basic model of the clone and not the animation. btw by chance how did you get the clones to import in with the skin properly because I used the same creator as you in Sketchfab and the textures looked really distorted and not right on the clone. please help me Ive been trying to solve this problem in the last 4 days ago.
It’s really cool but t technically not free since you have to go onto after effects to get saber well I have to keyframe every single scene
