You were 100% right. My previous PSU(CoolerMaster 650w 80+GOLD) was a refurb and bound to give up. My PC started to reset again and again. Then I changed it with XPGs Pylon Bronze 550w Bronze and gave my PC a new life. I still thank God as Coolermaster didnt blew up my entire PC.
My Specs are:
i5 10400F h410m
MSI Gtx 1660
2x8 corsair 1tb + 128
From my experience: XPGs psu are soundless! Coolermaster had a very annoying sound just like old CRT TVs.
Was that Cooler Master MWE series PSU? They were quite famous for turning off during load and also they often refused to turn on for several tries.

80 Plus efficiency really doesn't make any significant difference tbh. It is only beneficial for electricity providers.

Sir I have seen you videos on TH-cam and choose my psu on you recommended brands XPG. as you have vast knowledge on psu. Mu psu is XPG PYLON 750WATTS and it is making a hissing sound .when I turn my pc ON. Is this sound normal for psu. Sound is not that loud but can be listened when ceiling fan is off. What should I do is it normal for psu to make hissing sound or my psu is faulty. Kindly thora sa guide kr dain.

Does the coil whine (noise) go away when your PC is under heavy load?
Also make sure whether the sound is coming from the PSU or the GPU because GPUs also tend to produce coil whine.

It all matters On how efficient u want ur power consumption to be , Any Gpu Will run Perfectly on Good Quality 80 Plus Bronze , Gold or Platinum, These tiers just tell the efficiency

Seasonic is a good brand but as defined in the video, blindly following any brand and giving them your hard earned money without knowing the similarity of different brand's design and their performance is kinda stupid imo.
As a matter of fact, Seasonic has recently launched their mid-range oriented Gold PSU who's OEM is a Chinese brand Helly Technology and inside you will find all the low tier Chinese capacitors.
Know what's inside instead of being a blind follower.

RGB is mainly a gimmick! Many cheapo brands are adding this feature to make their extremely low quality PSUs look tempting.

I am stuck between 1st player AR750w(gold) 1year warranty, cougar vte x2 750(bronze being offered 2 years burn replacement warranty) and corsair cx750m(2017)semi modular 1 year warranty. If xpg pylon isnt available what is best option among these. All are new
Check FSP GSM Lite Pro 80+ Gold if it matches your budget.
Most online stores are selling 550 and 650w. For 750w a more expensive Hydro G is available. Will try offline market.

for psu about 16-18. will be running r5 5600 with 6700xt on a b550m with 16gb ram. Aircooler, ssd+hdd and 4-5 chinese fans

Though it's gonna be fine but you will be running close to the max wattage limit of the PSU especially if you OC your processor. For safer side, 650W would be recommended.
