Butanding is the popular name of this whaleshark in the Philippines.. but if they called it as "tiki-tiki" not so bad,,, the most interesting is this place is clean not crowded whom butanding love to live with..

dapat idevelop yan as tourist spot.. kapag ganyan na panahon ng butanding..wag na yung pinapakain tulad ng nasa cebu

Hanggat hindi iniihaw ng Oslob mga Butanding bumibisita sa kanila, who are we to say it’s wrong. wala nman sa loob ng Oceanpark aquarium doon, the whale sharks still live in the wild at hindi inaabuso. they also implement strict guidelines and rules. also, there are far worst situation where whale sharks could be in, like our many Asian neighbors who hunts them down, poach them, turning them into shark soup dishes, fish oil or supplements. I think it’s barking in a wrong tree here, overly protective when nothing is wrong, it’s no Fun anymore.
@@Luna_WQ917 Wag mo na idefend yung maling gawain. Oo mali yung gawain ng ibang lahi pero it doesn't mean na tama na yung ginagawa natin. In the first place, hindi dapat bigyan ng pagkain ang mga buhay ilang dahil they are born to hunt not to be fed by humans. Mas lalo silang umaamo paano kung maka encounter sila ng poachers while they are in wild? Now, mas risky na sa mga butanding ng oslob ang mahuli sila dahil saan? Sa kagagawan din naman ng tao, in general sa totoo lang.
jongYu Know sigurado ka tama ka nang paniniwala. maraming bagay sa mundo na mahirap maintindihan, lalo na sa Animal Kingdom, because many of us choose not to understand. yang Oslob Whale shark tour, hanggang 12 noon lang yan, after malaya yang mga Whales lumangoy sa karagatan ng Pilipinas at protected sila ng batas against poaching for endangered species. Hanggat di sila sinasaktan at inaabuso ng tao, wala akong nakikita masama if tourists would like to swim for photo ops with them. May strict guidelines din ang Oslob para di masaktan ang mga creatures. Mas maganda nga yan kasi nagiging ambassadors ang Butanding sa iba pang sea creatures that are endangered also, awareness to tourists and people of the world to care for creatures of God. How will you even care if you have no way of interacting with the creatures!
@@Luna_WQ917 point taken pero i guess hindi mo naiintindihan ang point ko. To say that who are we to say it's wrong? That's incorrect. Let me say it again, mas mabuti na hayaan sa wild ang mga hayop at hayaan sila na manghuli at maghirap para sa pagkain nila because that is how it should be. Now, babalik ako sa komento mo na bitter much ang isang tao kung hihilingin nya na sana hindi ito mahalintulad sa cebu na papakainin at gagawing tourist attraction at tsaka magsusulong ng awareness na sana hindi sila hulihin sa wild. Ako ay nakasisiguro na marami ka pang hindi alam sa kung ano ang dapat at hindi dapat gawin ng tao towards wild. I know for a fact na hinahayaan lang ang mga whaleshark sa cebu na bumalik sa wild pagkatapos kumain but they've been dependant sa mga tao kaya sila bumabalik. Hindi dahil sa sinasabi mo na who are we to say it's wrong hanggat hindi sila iniiihaw ng mga tao.
Ps. I already had the chance to encounter the whalesharks of oslob and even before hindi ko pa sila nakikita sa personal aware na ako sa kahalagahan nila sa wild. Maraming paraan para sa sinasabi mong awareness. Ang again, Pakiusap, wag mong idefend na tama ang ginagawa sa oslob kase mali. In the first place, as i said, hindi dapat pinakain and instead, hinahayaan dapat sila na maghunt at kumain para sa sarili nila. Pero nandyan na yan. Every wild animal that has been dependent to people is considered vulnerable if returned back into the wild.
Dapat pakainin yan ng taga liloan ang mga isda nayan para magbalik2 .dha kada adlaw. Kada araw pakainin. Para maging tourist attraction. Tulad ng oslob cebu.
