Yes I live in the San Francisco Bay area I am our prices are expensive, but I can still find things reasonably priced. If I hunt very hard I have a pop-up resale booth. It just cuts into my profits
In virginia, goodwills have tripled their prices. Im just starting out a thrift and upcycle business and finding it hard to sell anything to make an actual profit 😢
NJ Goodwill prices have increased dramatically since 2020. I just walk around several times until I find something with the color tags of the week to get a 50% discount. Rarely am I able to buy a handbag at a decent price. They have standard prices, even for a handbag that has a broken strap. I prefer 2nd Avenue Thrift and Good Stuff.
Lol!!!! The entire time I've watched you and Deb's videos, I am thinking I wonder how this paint would work for my kitchen cabinets! And there was the answer - the last seconds of your video!!!!!👍
I love that y'all remake and recycle you finds into something else...not like the others who buy something for $ 1.99 and just sell it to anyone who will give them 10 to 100 times the amount they paid for it! I feel that your creativity is worth it! Thanks! ❤❤
I love the new cottage colors. Especially the navy blue. Gorgeous. That artichoke base lamp could look good with an oversized bulb and no shade. You could also remove the harp and either paint the metal top or wrap cotton cording around the neck. You can also wrap ugly electrical cords with heavy cotton cording in a coordinating color (better than the fabric “sleeves” or cord covers) It gives a totally different result.
In the salt and pepper shakers, there was one glass one with a silver top. Please buy them even if there is only one, and I'll buy. I make them into snowmen.
I LOVE the Pacific....my favorite....loving the plum pudding and juniper next...I love pastels but we need a touch of dark colors too...wow, cabinet safe??? Yay
Anothre win with colors! Zeb idea to put all painted items with the entire cottage color line is a good idea..maybe use boards and use dark and whit wax into thrids to see the different effects, i am very curious as I was going to paint some items with the oolors I do have but would love to see if I need more options:))
You both did a fantastic job'! I m more excited about the new colors !! I learned so much watching 👍I'm just a Diyer for fun and gifts. Can't wait to see what I have in my goodwill stash to try all colors😊
Our Goodwell is clothing only racks of old clothing not any name brands .They put all the good stuff on the truck and take it to a center and put it on line for top dollars. I have been at the goodwill for years.and it's bad now
I love the urn, but all of the colors are so pretty! It will be interesting to see which color sells the best. I’d love to hear others opinion on which one they like the most.❤❤❤
Not stupid at all. DIY paint is owned by @debisdesigndiary. Debi Beard. Cottage Color is curated by us. We pick all the colors, names and branding and receive a small commission on all the paint sold by us and the other retailers.
LOVED it when Jami said about the bench "just add some more screws and glues" And when she said about the paint for outside you can bring the item in, in the winter, she said "we don't because we're lazy". LOVE it...
I have to say I'm most excited that the cottage colors (*all of them!❤) are available in small sizes!! They sure look good! Love the collection..great job,you guys!
I hate to say this....but the new colors look " thin" maybe when it dries it will look less transparent. It's nice that it is self leveling however....and maybe that's part of it?
Have you ever tried alcohol ink on glass? Last year I wanted to see if I could paint my dollar tree solar lights for Christmas. I painted a couple red and green and blue. It worked really well. I still have them and the color is like when I painted them. They sit out in the rain and snow. I got the inks at Joann's by the scrapbook stuff.
Love your new colours. I just bought a dark blue but I love your blue better than mine. Do you have a stockist in Australia for your paint etc. Jami. I’d really appreciate it if you could let me know, thanks. I watch all your videos but don’t usually comment, unless I really want to say something. TFS all your shopping trips and then setting up what you’ve thrifted so we can all see everything all at once, I love that idea. Have a great week/weekend guys.
I enjoyed your video and how well you work together. I am a new fan and new subscriber. I can't wait until I find a retailer in SW Illinois to get your new Cottage colors. I am a Fusion Paint mineral paint, Annie Sloan chalk paint, and Dixie Belle mineral chalk paint user. My favorite lately has been Fusion paint mineral paint and it seems that your cottage paints are of the same qualities. Clean, paint. dry and you are done. A paint with primer and sealer. Good stuff.
I LOVE the chair! I would like to see the planter a different color, something to contrast with plants maybe. I really like the others.... The key I would pass on, but i just don't care for the subject.
For me Pacific and Juniper are going to be my favorite colors. Then again I’m in the Pacific NW and both of these colors live here really well. Plus there’s lots of juniper up here.
Exceeded my expectations! I was mostly excited about a new shade of purple coming because that's my jam.,lol. Then I watched this video and OMG, I LOVE them all! They're not just another red, blue, green, etc, paint line. I'm ordering half of them today!
Gotcha - thanks, never heard of that product I have tried Kris cutter which works really well. Removes any shiny finish too. Hopefully no one uses it on a good piece of furniture or a final painted piece
Favorites are Pacific, Plum Pudding, and Juniper! That little chair is wonderful ❤️ Congratulations on your new paint colors and the challenge pieces and extra thrift finds! The toilet mug really cracked me up too my brother used to say that 😄
The thrift stores in your area are priced to sale unlike the rest of the united states 😂 ours are crazy insane prices
Right?! Agree

Here in Yuma the Goodwill think they are Dillards…
You guys are the best. I love watching all the great things you create ❤❤❤😊
I adore the new colours. They are great additions to your line!

All the colors are beautiful but I think my favorite is Juniper. I think this will be the hit color.
Love all the colors. Green is my fav!
Love all the new colors ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Love the blue and green❤
I love the new cottage colors. Especially the navy blue. Gorgeous.

If you put a transfer on the lamp shade you could continue to use it.
I LOVE the Pacific....my favorite....loving the plum pudding and juniper next...I love pastels but we need a touch of dark colors too...wow, cabinet safe??? Yay
love the new colors. You are spot on for what will be popular with crafters.
Anothre win with colors! WOOOOHOOOOOO It’s like CHRISTMAS!!!!!!
Love the new colors
You both did a fantastic job'! I m more excited about the new colors !!
I learned so much watching 👍I'm just a Diyer for fun and gifts. Can't wait to see what I have in my goodwill stash to try all colors😊
Fun!
I like this type of video ! Prerecorded works just fine.
Beautiful color palette! Can’t wait to get my hands on that Pacific Blue! 💙
Listen Linda this would have cost me way over $100 here in Michigan 😑 ahhhh crazy. 😵
Ps super great new colors I’m excited about the red. ❤️😃
Our Goodwell is clothing only racks of old clothing not any name brands .They put all the good stuff on the truck and take it to a center and put it on line for top dollars. I have been at the goodwill for years.and it's bad now
They are beautiful colors
For your next paint colors maybe a terracotta?
Love the new colors ❤️🙏
Oh the bench 🥰
I have that jar except glass in mine is clear, never thought about painting it, hmmm
I love the plum pudding
Fun colors! 🎉
I noticed you stirred the paint. Will it mix by shaking the can? Love the new colors.
Help! I need to know how many pints of paint do I need to cover a Victorian Fabric Stuffed Living Room Chair, with wooden legs?
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Can someone help me out...if this is Jamie Rays paint who is Debi?
This is manufactured by Debis Design Diary DIY Paint. Jami Ray Vintage has curated all the colors and brand design. It is our line made by DIY paint.
😊👍👋
Same as new zealand our price a 1:28 re way to expensive
Sorry I meant too expensive to make a profit
I think the video was very rushed
Love the new colors
Love the new colors and thankful that the Cottage Colors come in the smaller samples now. Yahoo for the win. Projects look great
I'm loving these new dark colors. Jami the Navy blue on your chair is my favorite.❤
I love the urn, but all of the colors are so pretty! It will be interesting to see which color sells the best. I’d love to hear others opinion on which one they like the most.❤❤❤
*Such wonderful COLORS...I L💙VE the new color PACIFIC❣️*
I hope this isn’t a stupid question but are you two the owners of DIY paint?
Not stupid at all. DIY paint is owned by @debisdesigndiary. Debi Beard. Cottage Color is curated by us. We pick all the colors, names and branding and receive a small commission on all the paint sold by us and the other retailers.
Such wonderful colors to go along with the line 🥰, looking forward to creating some fun pieces with this paint. Congratulations 🎉🎉!
Oh my goodness. Perfect projects! I was going to thrift for six projects and instead decided to shop our own stash ! These colors are incredible
I watched your video. Your granddaughter is so cute and it’s funny that we both painted a pot the same color without trying.
@@JamiRayVintage ha!!! Great minds! Seriously good paint. On EVERYTHING
The colors are excellent and the projects are beautiful!
LOVED it when Jami said about the bench "just add some more screws and glues" And when she said about the paint for outside you can bring the item in, in the winter, she said "we don't because we're lazy". LOVE it...
Martha stewart probably buys new ones every spring!
I have to say I'm most excited that the cottage colors (*all of them!❤) are available in small sizes!! They sure look good! Love the collection..great job,you guys!
It’s exciting to have them in the 8oz size!
I love the plum pudding soooooo much. I wish there was a stockist here in Australia!
I hate to say this....but the new colors look " thin" maybe when it dries it will look less transparent. It's nice that it is self leveling however....and maybe that's part of it?
Yes it is thinner. That is part of the self leveling. It is much different than the clay based paint you use that is thick and has texture
I love that you don’t use just white and black. These projects are amazing, I am very inspired ❤
Love the lamp colour....and the green..(and I don't even like green..but its a winner). Also pretty red......pretty blue chair.....🌝🌝
Looks so good. Cant wait to try it
I absolutely love that plum pudding color
Love the green
❤ ALL your work is OUTSTANDING. I love watching your videos. It gives me great ideas for my place.
Do you know where I can purchase your new colours in Australia. I live in Victoria Melbourne Australia
I LOVE little drawer storage boxes too!! I have 2 from Ikea, and 6 from various other places.😊
Hi u should use a roller much quicker and better finish. And a lot quicker.🤗
I love the plum pudding and navy but they’re all great colors. I’ve been wanting a bench like that. Will be fun to see how you fix it up.
Aw I think I actually liked the original chair better but the planter looks great with the green.
Your canvas drop cloth would be a beautiful piece of artwork!
I love the colors you’ve used so far
My friend is a diy retailer and she had to go out of town. I had to price and put out the new colors in ber booth this morning 😉😉😉
I love the planter color especially, also the barn color!!!💞
I love that navy blue. Love it.❤ Thanks for the inspo.
Love your videos. Thanks for sharing.
I wonder why the key had a key hole on the back side???
Pacific is my favorite of the new colors!
The jar turned out fantastic!
Love the new colors and your redos. ❤

We don’t have any retailers. I wish we did but I don’t think our manufacturer is ready. We can ship to AUS but it’s expensive.
I enjoyed your video and how well you work together.

Love the jar

Is the new paint a latex based paint? Very nice a harvest gold will be a nice addition
No it is a mineral based paint. No latex or acrylic. The ingredients are on the can. I will try and put them up on a video next time.
I LOVE the chair! I would like to see the planter a different color, something to contrast with plants maybe. I really like the others.... The key I would pass on, but i just don't care for the subject.

I 😍 LOVE how provincial looks when dried!!! Perfection 👍😁
? Mix the citisolv with the Dawn? Do you wipe with water afterwards before painting
Sorry it’s just Citrasolv and water no dawn. I just use my old dawn bottle. And then I use a damp rag to wipe off all the cleaner.
Gotcha - thanks, never heard of that product I have tried Kris cutter which works really well. Removes any shiny finish too. Hopefully no one uses it on a good piece of furniture or a final painted piece
