This is a great review. I have been considering something like this for emergency heat for my weekend place which has electric heat only. It's interesting that they say you can only use the one pound tank in pairs when they let you use only one side for the 20 pound tank. Makes me wonder if you can use two 20 pound tanks or get away with using only one one-pound tank. I'm going to check out your propane generator review I saw mentioned. Also funny you mentioned they don't want you to put a pan on top when they give you that nice convenient flat surface to do just that. Probably liability reasons.
