    from the 59 authentic aesthetic videos I have watched I have learned that if a camera can fit in your pocket, its good

    Thanks for that video!
    This Pentax Zoom 70 is my dad's camera with what he built all photo albums we have since I was born... Happy to have it with me to take beautiful pictures!

    Bought this camera to get my 8y/o nephew into photography and was wondering if it actually took good pictures. Finally a good video on it! Thanks! :)

    Was looking around in my father’s old “film photography caisson”, just looking for film development stuff when I noticed a small box.
    I opened it and found a leather case with this lonely camera inside.
    I wasn’t sure if it was something even good enough to test (more into SLRs than p&s), but this vid put me in the right mood to give it a try, so thanks mate!

    Nice! I just got the Original IQZOOM which came out in 1986. Looking forward to shooting it. I think it feels great and solid in the hands. I also love that 80's video game look to it.

    I've been scanning photos taken 30 years ago with this camera; not too shabby.

    I will never be able to explain just how much time I've spent trying to find a single video that talks about this camera that i found at an estate sale... and here it is... in my recommendations.. using a completely different name than what I've been searching with...

    Really a fan of your edits because of that vintage vibe, do you have any tips or recommendation to give that vintage vibe to a photo/video?

    Just got mine for 40kr (cheap af) with the original case and strap . However the 4 alkaline batteries seem to not be enough for it so im buying a lithium battery (as The instructions online said I could) , hopefully that’ll be enough . The cameras battery just blinks as its low and whenever I press something its buzzing SUPER loud , but that could be from the shutter not opening (as it said it wouldnt do on low battery) .
    And yes , the batteries are completely new .

    My parents still have the successive model, the Pentax Zoom 70-S. It works but I think it needs a new flash bulb.

    Still not tried the camera, thought I’d watch this again first seeing I’ll be taking photos in the same area🤣
    That’s the problem I’m thinking about, size, weight and shape, it’s not much lighter than my Fuji XT3

    I’ve got this camera, never used it but looking at giving it a try when I can get out on the 1st April. Couldn’t believe it when the video started as these are the exact same streets I’ll be using it on.

    Hi, I’m not sure if your account is still active or if you’ll see this comment but I was wondering if you knew how to turn off the flash?
    I want to shoot in the dark with special lighting but it comes with built in flash and the buttons don’t seem to turn off anything and I can only seem to find videos of how to use this model in foreign languages.
    It would be great help! Thanks in advance if you do see this :)

    • @rafaelsikiric7599
      @rafaelsikiric7599 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      yeah i have the same problem, it seems that the automatic flash is always activated if theres not enough light. when i shoot in the daytime the flash somehow isnt automatically activated and i can activate the flash if i want to. did you fix this problem?

  • @btrdangerdan2010

    That clunky shutter sound...

  • @ameliaphillips3019
    @ameliaphillips3019 6 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    How do you turn the flash off? :)

    • @jamstills
      @jamstills  6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Usually the flash only fires if the middle button on the front of the camera is pushed down. If the flash always goes off the button might be jammed or the camera might be automatically using the flash because it thinks it's too dark.
