EFL CHAMPIONSHIP PREDICTIONS!!!

- In this video I assess each club and explain where I think they will finish in the Sky Bet Championship.
Check out where i put the freshly promoted Portsmouth, Derby County and Oxford United in this heavily competitive division. Freshly relegated teams like Sheffield United, Burnley and Luton Town may have the financial edge at this point but do they have the bounce back mentality to provide a promotion push?
Hull City just fell short of the play offs last year while Leeds United failed at Wembley stadium, can either of those two teams find a way to get themselves into the Premier League.
Obviously the rest of the league all have a part to play so check out this video and why I think each team will land in each position.
Blackburn Rovers, Bristol City, Burnley, Cardiff City, Coventry City, Derby County, Hull City, Leeds United, Luton Town, Middleborough, Millwall, Norwich City, Oxford United, Plymouth Argyle, Portsmouth, Preston North End, Queens Park Rangers, Sheffield United, Sheffield Wednesday, Stoke City, Sunderland, Swansea City, Watford, West Brom.

Thanks, Lewis and I have Subscribed. I saw Brian Clough's Derby County win 1/0 at Millwall in 1969. I still remember the "Come On Derby" through the game:) Millwall finished top of the last 12 games chart and won their last 5 matches after losing their way with 3 previous Managers in that same season. Those 4 Managers last year were as many as we had in my first 25 years watching The Lions from 1962-1987. Frustratingly, imo, we had a better squad last year and our worst position but 2 good signings to add to that squad means we might surprise a few. Sort out your Admin though. It's "scored" not "scoreed" and no point in shortening 13 letters in "transfer market" to 12 letters. It's "Bramall Lane" not "Bramble Lane",my friend. Good Luck:)
Thank you for subscribing, I look forward to seeing you round!
Apologies on the admin side of things will rectify it for future videos.
Transfermarkt is a website I used to collected all the transfer stuff, I haven’t shortened it mate.
Thank you again for watching and subscribing!
As a Luton fan I think we’re going to get back to the Premier League
I completely agree mate, I think you’ll certainly be right at the very top end of the league
@@Lewis_Everett thank you
Staying up is your only priority same as us ⭐️🌙
Exactly. I think all 3 promoted sides have that view point really!
Why is it, in you summary of Rooney , you made absolutely no mention of his abysmal time in charge at Birmingham City and the trail of destruction he left behind in his wake, leading to the relegation of the Blues ? This is a huge omission on your part.
He was dealt a losing hand from day 1 at Birmingham.
Replacing a manager who had them in the top 6 right before their toughest run in the season was never going to end well and it didn’t. Was it 83 days he was in charge.
@@Lewis_Everett You think that Rooney was dealt a 'losing hand' taking over a club in 6th place in the division before totally botching the job and sending them free-fall into relegation ? When Corboran took over at WBA, he would have dreamt of taking over a team in 6th place, instead of one at the bottom of the table. But because Corberan is, unlike Rooney, a proper, talented manager, he took Albion from the bottom to the edge of the play-offs in his first season, then got them into the play-offs the next season.
I can't understand people like you who make excuses for failures like Rooney. How are you 'wired-up' ? Tell you what, I'll be interested to hear your excuses for him after he gets Plymouth relegated by Christmas and then gets the sack. You can call for him to return to Derby County then, can't you ?
@k.avilla8061 you’ve missed the point I made mate about the bad hand.
It’s also completely different taking over and changing everything at a team 23rd then it is taking over a team that’s in the top 6. The fans of the team in 23rd wants/needs a change the fans of the team in the top 6 is happy with what’s going on.
I don’t have any excuses for him at Plymouth.
@@Lewis_Everett Quote : ' I don’t have any excuses for him at Plymouth.' I wouldn't expect you to, as yet. He can't be judged at Plymouth yet, as he's only been in charge for one game.
What baffles me, is why you're trying to make excuses for his failure at B'ham City ?
You seem to be trying to make the case that it's an easier job for a manger to pull a bottom club up by their boot-straps than it is to take-over and improve a team that doing relatively succesfully, but this is flawed logic and you're not going to convince anybody that a manager prefers to take on a failing team than a good team. This is counter-intuitive logic and nobody reading this believes it.
If he'd left things alone B'ham City would have been ok, but he came and changed things (of course, there's no point in changing managers to keep things as they had been before, is there ?). Tell you what, let's return to this at Christmas, when Plymouth are bottom and Roo is sacked. Let's hear what you think then.
So Boro are too hit or miss with 20 wins and 17 losses last season but Coventry are going all the way with 17 wins and 16 losses?
By hit or miss I mean season after season. Sometimes they are challenging at the top, then they struggle for a while then they challenge again.
@@Lewis_Everett That usually coincides with a change of manager. Boro have a really good sense of direction at the club and were hit massively by injuries last season. At one point they had 14 first team players out injured while playing a heavily congested fixture list including a Carabao Cup semi final. Despite all that though finished 4 points outside of the playoffs and were one of the best form sides in the division at the end of the last season. Think a lot of people are underestimating Boro and if you want to follow the trends of hit and miss, then last season was definitely the miss season
Yes 100% I do feel like last year for yourselves was a miss for a majority of it. I do think you’ll be in and around it this season, I’ve got you in 7th and I think from 5th to about 10th will be within 5-6 points come the back end of the season. I think it will come down to who finishes the strongest as to who ends in the play offs.
@@robstuckey1112 Bring back "The Ayresome Angels"...:)
You should have waited until business is finished. A lot of your predictions are going to look pretty silly come the end of the season. Stoke finished last season with some good wins, and if we start like we finished we are going to be at least mid table.
We’d already be 4 games into the season by that point. I probably could’ve waited an extra week but hey ho. Let’s see how things go, maybe I’ll do it different next year 😂
Mid table would be good first year and then we can build up on that
Completely agree, I think so longs as we stay up that’s a successful season!
Bristol city will be top half pushing play offs, thanks for knighty and max bird 😂
I’ve got you 12th. I think the back end of the top 6 will be very tight so I’m sure you’ll be around it.
Good luck for the season, saw Knighty is now skipper hopefully he continues his good form for you. You’ll love Birdy by Christmas.
@@Lewis_Everett good luck to Derby back where they belong at minimum. Good club we’ll see you at the end of the month 👍
@jaydot1231 absolutely mate, good luck to you lot! Hope Birdy is as good for you as he was for us!
Cardiff didnt finish 20th last season
The Rams are going up!!!
Would certainly be nice to see! 🐏⚽️
It’s straight forward mighty Leeds
That’s why they are placed where they are placed in my predictions!
its brammal lane
