I will never ever forget this guy playing this at T in the Park. Days of madness and you hear this…so simple and till this day send shivers up my spine. Thank you.
Saw Jose play in a small venue in Newtown, Sydney, not long after Veneer had been released. It is still by far the most magical concert I have ever seen live.
This is 2 years old but if you're still around I was wondering, being a metal-head, do you like the complexity of the original electronic version from The Knife?
A wonderful combination of deceptively simple guitar part and softly sung vocals. Beautiful... and so much better that the original electronica version. Sometimes a song needs to be discovered and reinterpreted to find it's real quality. Heartbeats joins Joe Cocker's 'With a Little Help From My Friends' as one of the very best covers of all time.
The original is so simple yet so complicated because it is just so melodic that it can be done with practically any instrument and get the same ethereal effect. It's brilliant structuring of a song mixed with compelling flowing lyrics.
I heard the The Knife's original version almost 1 years after playing this almost every single day for that year. After hearing the original I put it on the same playlist and now I hear them together whenever I pick that playlist. I couldn't disagree more, this is a great song.
You know a song’s good when an entire country posts a video about it.
That's exactly right!
hahah sorry to ask: wich country? and wich video? haha sorry
@@vitormmarques_Hello, same person, new account. To answer your question: Sweden’s the country, and this video is what I was referring to.

Tack!
the original version from "the knife" is also really good in a different way. Its not a great song, but theres something magical about it as well.
We love it!
I think the knife original is fabulous
I think it's absolutely a great song, absolute banger. Every bit as brilliant as this cover but, as you say, in a different way.
The original is so simple yet so complicated because it is just so melodic that it can be done with practically any instrument and get the same ethereal effect. It's brilliant structuring of a song mixed with compelling flowing lyrics.

Beautiful Brother!!Duncan1
So good!
His rendition is beautiful, but would be nice if there was more recognition of The Knife, who wrote the song, and who are also from Sweden
Thank you for your feedback!
… and now, Fever Ray. So many great artists to thanks Sweden for.
I LOVE YOU SWEDEN
Thank you for the love!
Why they cut it short?
Probably copyright matters.

So that’s what Adam sandler is up to these days

A classic advert!
Did anyone know that it’s a cover……..,
It's The Knife, another Swedish band, that did it originally!
Bob Dylan's long lost son?
Now that you've. mentioned it! 😉
Thousands of colourful rubber balls rolling down a street
That advert sure left a mark on many of us!
