Like them or not, they are so distinctive! I was headed North on I-95 from Florida to South Carolina and you can spot all the Kias from a mile a way with their prominent amber drls. Pretty cool
He is right about the 'smart' trunk opening on its own. Every Hyundai i ever owned with this opened on its own..for no apparant reason. And the fact that this is a KIA does not matter..
1:40 I was terrified when my American friends turn their heads to look back when changing lane. Later I learned that the DMV driving test in some states really requires driver to do that. I found it way easier to check my blind spots by leaning my head a few inches forward to check the mirror from a slightly different angle. This way my eyes are always on the road; and it creates less movement, so better stability of my driving.
I guess it would look funny, if you don't know the rules of the road. There are a couple of driving methods the two of you could look into. One is called. Drive with five. And the other is the SMITH system. You can probably find them online. Might help keep you alive.
My car currently has a smashed rear door window from a rock hitting it. I normally shoulder check my blind spot, but this week have had to lean forward to check my blind spot in the mirror. I find the shoulder check feels safer personally, I feel like a terrible driver hunching down to look in a tiny mirror.
The only thing I wish is if it had auto dimming interior rearview mirror, most cars are moving away from manual dimming with a few including a camera to the rearview mirror, it's about time Kia did the same and added it on to the K4 as well
Are we definitely getting that hatchback/wagon here in the US? I hope so, plus a full GT too above this GT Line Turbo. I'd love for it to also have an awd option.
The Camry is in a totally different class above being that it is a Mid-Sized Sedan together with the K5 and the K4 is a Compact hence why they classified the Corolla
Really wanted to like this car but when I saw it up close that c-pillar is a deal breaker. It looks like it was just welded on and the car is too long for a compact sedan.
Maybe it looks better in person. To be honest I haven't seen an angel I like. But I did not like the new Camry in photos and video. I ended up getting one after actually looking at it and driving it. So I will reserve a final opinion until I see it for myself.
Y'all can't be serious, this is a very sporty and intuitive design they came out with almost Lambo like in my opinion but then again only true car enthusiasts can truly appreciate such a look
3:00 Wrong. Mazda3 Sedan comes with optional AWD.
Good catch!
Get it right !!
Kids watching at home, always look over your shoulder to check your blind spot. No amount of technology will change that.
Mazda 3 still has AWD right?
Yes, seems like they forgot about that one.
they left it out on purpose to increase engagement with people in the comments section pointing out their error

I like the coupe like design and that the fact that it has a turbo is fun hopefully we get some cool sport editions

We need hybrid model
no you don’t, if you did you would have bought the hybrid nissan sentra
What hybrid Nissan Sentra??@SilverScarletSpider
Nah
Hyundai was smart to drop their DCT in this. Next, they should remove it from the Sorento/Santa Fe and K5/Sonata
Hyundai dropped the DCT, Nissan dropped the CVT. South Korea 🇰🇷 and Japan 🇯🇵 are winning
I agree. The worst one is the santa cruz. A dct.. in a truck.. like why..
Excellent review!😸
The KIA logo off to the side on the steering wheel bothers me more than it should!!! 😬😬😬
And here I thought that *i* was the only one…

Good review. Missing Lynn ❤

It’s a requirement in Germany too and imo it’s crazy to just look around and watch the other direction than the one you’re going!!!

Not going to lie, the review was subpar
I didn’t care for this guy when he worked with Alex on Autos. I’m sure he’s a great guy. He just doesn’t do it for me. Not everyone pops on YT.
quite noisy inside isn't?
Seems so. My 2024 Kia Forte GT2 is pretty noisy inside too...
Perhaps their microphone (s) are poorly set up? Or, more likely, it’s a cheap little car 🚗 (relatively speaking).
Other reviews said it was quiet

I love it! Wish it had a 2.0T instead of the 1.6T but it's still a great little thicc car
Very disappointing that there was no hybrid option as seen in the other manufacturers greetings from southern Ontario Canada
tbf the kia k5 sold in the US doesn't have a hybrid option either.
Looked up history of 2.0. It started in 2017. 8 yrs of use.
Are we definitely getting that hatchback/wagon here in the US? I hope so, plus a full GT too above this GT Line Turbo. I'd love for it to also have an awd option.
Little concerned about the tiny turbo engine but from what i understand kia did a good job with it cause it seems to last a long time
You missed the Camery for a similar sedan with All Wheel Drive.
The Camry is in a totally different class above being that it is a Mid-Sized Sedan together with the K5 and the K4 is a Compact hence why they classified the Corolla
kia has been killing it lately, wish it had more horsepower though. really home a gt with like 250 horsepower coming.
Really wanted to like this car but when I saw it up close that c-pillar is a deal breaker. It looks like it was just welded on and the car is too long for a compact sedan.
Looks so good 👍. But here in Europe we don't get it
Don't worry it shall be coming soon in 2025, just be patient a bit and it will be right on y'all shores
Love it but give us a hybrid!!
Love my k5. This one looks overstyled
the updated K5 looks very similar now..especially the rear end
K5 looks better but i don't think the k4 looks bad. Have to wait and see what the hatch one looks like
Nissan makes a Altima that is also All Wheel Drive too.
it is a good looking car, other than the weird c-pillar styling...now that wagon though. Pretty sweet looking.
I think it doesn't look bad in darker exterior colors, other than the one being shown in this review.
Thats C pillar literally breaks the whole consistency of this car. Weird design choices
HONDA CIVIC TOURING ❤
bro that's a ton of tire noise. low profile tires are great for handling but bad for bumps and NOISE.
Mazda 3 turbo over this
Damn it's fugly, I'll keep my '02 Spec and waut fir the wagon.
Maybe it looks better in person. To be honest I haven't seen an angel I like. But I did not like the new Camry in photos and video. I ended up getting one after actually looking at it and driving it. So I will reserve a final opinion until I see it for myself.
Forte Gt turbo for me..I'll pass on this thing
its noisy
Hybrids suck its a great car
No CVtragic is good; cant be repaired and cost almost $10k used ir new to replace, gurlbye.
I'll keep my 2024 Kia Forte GT DCT. It has more character. Hard pass on this car.
Based on every review I've watched, the better model is in the lower trims. A hybrid paired with Kia's IVT in the top trim would be a game-changer.
CVT 8 speed 11 less HP no thanks
Why is it so loud inside lol Kia and Hyundai are garbage I'm sorry. I owned one
camera is amplifying the noise
They are. :( I am thinking of trying out an electric Kona, though. It’s like 50% off in its third year. Only decent EV I can afford …
👎
It looks weird, lol.
I think this things looks awful. Way too much going on. It won’t age well at all.
It's disgusting
