The Fords Theater box has Major Rathbone in his military uniform which is in error. Rathbone wore a business suit to the theater that evening. I assume the museum used the military uniform since their display text references Major Rathbone.

My favorite Linclon story is during the war East Tennessee was pro union. A few POW'S escaped from Andersonville, and made their way North, into East Tennessee. They soon came upon a old farmer in his field and cried out "God bless Jeff Davis". The farmer replied "Old Jeff Davis hasn't done nothing, but case me trouble". One of the follows then said 'God bless Abe Linclon". The old man then said 'we are Linclonites here, you should have said that in the first place. Then the farmer fed them and got them safely to the north.🖋
