I work in a clothing store and we have people comb through our clearance and confirm at least three times while purchasing their haul that they can, in fact, return the items. Likewise, when I'm processing go-backs, we've had returns of over 15 units (I think the record is a 60-item return totalling over $800) where things are often duplicates. (ie, in a 19-unit return, all of them were the same pant style in our four available colors and each color having a small range of sizing; there were six pairs in the same color and size.) I guess some people need the serotonin boost or need to let the no-impulse-control demon breathe more than they need their money.
