I've seen Lizzies story a couple of times and it still tears me up. I was overweight and tap danced and twirled baton. I'd get made fun of needing bigger leotards but I beat them all in baton twirling and advanced to fire at age 8 and and was chosen to twirl at the Michigan State Fair 🔥 thank you for sharing this story and congratulations to Lizzy for not giving up and her aunt supporting her 👏

I am a big girl, but I was really good at it, despite not looking as good as the skinny girls.

I can relate to Lizzy. I've had to deal with people making fun of me because of my height. It really hurts how people can be so naive. Their words lower my self-esteem and makes me think I can't do anything. I am very grateful that I have a supportive father who helps me throughout my times of hardship. And no, I don't have a growth disorder, it's just genetics.

Calorie deficit is what makes one loose weight and burn fat. 🔥 now exercise is to stimulate blood flow and for increased energy and strength. Not weight loss. The kitchen is what makes us loos the weight and burn the fat.

I'm not fat like her but when I was in elementary, I was bullied because I'm chubby, short and could not speak my own dialect. They call me names and take advantages. They just befriend me if they needed something but when they don't need anything from me, they stop hangging with me as if they don't owe me anything. Swear, I regret of befriending them. If I could turn back the time, I rather be alone than hanging with those fake and mean people. They made me miserable.

Lizzy as young as she is (was during this video) is a strong young woman, being a teenager is hard and teenage girls have enough self esteem issues. So the fact she can go forward with her dreams despite people’s cruelty and dance like she does screams strength and confidence. I hope she continues to dance and lives a long healthy life!

this reminds me of theses 2 girls on my basketball team, one of them is really heavy and the other one is just heavy. we run for 12,15,or 20 minutes everyday and they tend to stop and break a lot, every time anyone stops even them i tap the girls on the back and say keep going you got this. i NEVER judge because you never know what there going through.

Being plus sized in general people make fun of me.. especially family. My stepmom tried to force me into a diet. Being a plus size dancer as well I can't even explain how inspirational this is .

In the 1990s, there was a trend dubbed "Heroin Chic" where being extremely thin and looking like all you consumed was heroin was popular. Meanwhile, in the Victorian era, being plump and having a full figure was the standard, it meant that you didn't have to work hard and that you ate well (wealth).
People get bullied for having big breasts even though it's the standard.

i got made front of in football when i was 8 years old because of my size i started to thing i was big so i ran and chraned than i lost a lot of weigh so now i get a lot of calls to come to other teams and i love beaing a forward
I was skinny-shamed for 4 years of my life since I was 6. I was told to eat alot like literally alot. The 7 year old me vomited for a week because my mom overfed me after all that pain my mom just called me a ''baby''. The only supporter I had was my brother and cousins so I never took time with him for granted. He told me what was right. Its only when I was 10 I started to gain weight then I was fat-shamed by my family. My cousins and brother were there for me and advised me to live my life and do whatever u want, my family was toxic so I cut contact with them except for my brother and cousins. I was 16 when I started focusing on myself. Now im 22 and have a great life. Fat-shaming and skinny-shaming are not ok.
