What you’re saying is right but only for people under 6 foot I’m 6’2” and I really needed those 10” bars. It really helped my back and made things easier.

I'm 6'3 my bars are 9.75 I'm wanting taller or possible a higher positioned stem I have spacers and angled forward a tad bars. My 21in frame is great though. Might end up with 11 inch ris bars xD

I'm 6'0" and upsized from 9 to 9.5 and added a spacer. I feel like the leverage is better. I can hop a bit higher. Before when I pulled the bars on the hop it was closer to my knees, now it's closer to my waist and I have better leverage.

@netrunner2049 I'm in the same boat. I'm a lil over 6'1" and a few weeks ago I upgraded to the odyssey broc bars at 9.8 I'm a 32yr old former basketball player so my body isn't what it used to be but with the new bars...mmmm perfecto. @JACOBHAGER thanks for all the content and how to vids I love em

I'm 5' 11" and currently ride 9 inch bars. I feel really hunched over when I'm riding and my back tends to get sore. I only have one pretty thin headset spacer which doesn't help... So I just ordered some Cult AK 10" bars. However, I do a ton of mountain biking so my preferences might be a little skewed.

I’m 6” currently riding 10” bars with a top load stem. I’m going to probably swap to 9.5” bars soon because I have too much leverage on the bike when doing manuals and ice picks.

You probably should take about headset spacers. You say you run a pretty low bar, but you’ve got almost an inch of headset spacers under your stem..

  • @garygary6032

i've always ran my bars pretty wide to have a bunch of extra bar because that extra bar makes turning feel more stable and it gives me some balance when doing fakies

I'm 5'5 with 8.5' bars and they feel amazing. In my opinion any thing from 8.5 to 9 is pretty solid depending on your setup of course, I run a topload with 3 spacers, so defo won't be going more than 8.5.

I'm 6ft 4in and riding 9.75 bars would leave me hunched and trying to lift the front end for anything was always awkward.
Just got some S&M Elevenz lol They're HUGE but I swear man riding feels so much less awkward now and manuals/front lift is so much more comfortable.
