I visited as a tourist on a cruise - this was the area of town I visited - Hamilton was beautiful. I wish I had more time to see the rest of the country to broaden my understanding of Bermuda.

I hate it when they use steel drums to denote every Caribbean Island. Steel drums originate from Trinidad & Tobago. Would you use US country music to feature in a Canadian city walk?
There is hardly any difference between the USA and Canada. Id even say the northern states have more in common with Canada than the southern states. Canadian government more closely resembles Britain but that's honestly outdated and doesnt reflect the broader culture, we're basically an extension of America, except Quebec. 90% of us live within 100 miles from the border.

Yes you can but Jobs have to be offered to locals first. If no local qualifies or applies it's open to expats. Most of the higher paying expat jobs are in insurance and finance, however they are always looking for skills not found locally. Expats can come on a 3 year work permit (normally) and extend if possible (extension also subject to local talent availability at the time as well). That is what I have learnt so far.

Good point! Perhaps the cruise industry is to blame- on my Bermuda cruise, they played steel drums nonstop!
