Man, you're braver than I am! I don't know if I'd tackle a tire change out. I'm too chicken that I'd screw something up with my butter fingers! Good job Sean!
I used to love Michelin commanders in my sport bike days, I've tried to go back a few times but something always gets in the way and I'm back to American Elites which have treated me well. Great info and how to!
I've never ran American Elites. I've heard nothing but good about them. I was shocked how many miles I got out of the Commanders last time. And the price was on point!
I run American Elite blackwalls and so far, so good. Next might be either white lines or wide whites. While wide whites look great, they are a pain to clean. I don't know if i'd attempt an at home tire change, but I do check pressure about once a week, it gets cold at night in South NJ.
my scooter is Daelim XQ250i, front 120/70-15 and rear 140/60-14 (it's hard to get this size in my country), so can you suggest which type for the rear has better acceleration than before but also with good maneuverability. agiltity and cornering, from the following types available 120/70-14, 130/70-14 or 140/70-14. thanks
I'm not an expert on scooters. I've never owned one. I do know for lighter motor bikes you want a softer rubber for maneuverability and a harder rubber for touring. I'm not sure what brands are available to you but, I would go with one that is known for soft sticky rubber if that is what you are looking for.
You made that look way too easy. I have a buddy that uses a jack and the weight of his jeep to break the bead then reset the tires. Maybe less labor but that is a tedious job. Well done.
Skinko tires have came a long ways in the last 15 years. My dad ran them on all his bikes and loved them 👍👍
They have. I think they have a great standing in the cruiser class. I believe a lot of the performance guys use them.
It saves a load of money over time if you can change your own tires 😎👍👍
Yeah, it's work though! Not for the faint of heart🤣

I've been known to bite off more than I can chew. This was a job!

Nice job sir! I might try that on my next tire change. Hopefully my back can handle that!
Thanks Cue! Yeah, I was moving slow for a couple days after that🤣
Nice job explaining the process 👍👍
Thanks! It was a process 🤣🤣
Great stuff as always 🦈🦈
Thanks Bry!
Nice job Sean 👍
Thanks Roy!
Nice job!
Thanks!

Yeah, I had wide white on my Road King. A lot of scrubbing 🤣
Good video.
Appreciate it!
Impressive 😁
My back wasn't impressed🤣

Ya, the expert here wants to put Commander II cruiser tires on his big tour bus. Then cry the blues cuz they wore out too soon! 🤣
Got 15K on my last set and only 10K on dunlaps. But hey, to each is their own right? Check back in when I run these to 15K.

Power of editing my friend 😜 I've seen the jack hack. Harbor freight has a mechanical bead breaker pretty cheap too.
