Not sure why it popped in my head but I am glad there is a bit of tradition still happening. I moved into 168 Mankato May 83' and the nicest neighbors brought over some Xmas decorations and what happened for the 2 weeks before Xmas. There was a flyer so everyone was on the same page and every house played except one. There were tour busses from Poway, one way in and the same out, solid traffic for the 2 hours. if you lived there you stayed in or stayed out till it was done for the night. Good times and I didn't mind putting up decorations when it was 70. 25yrs in the Navy moving around, the 80's on Mankato were the best.

I grew up in CV. We used to go to Candy Cane Lane. Is it the same place?

No. This is at the circle of Whitney/Mankato between 1st and 2nd. I grew up in the Chula Vista area too. Candy Cane Lane was discontinued many years ago, unfortunately.

No. It’s Christmas Circle. Candy Cane Lane no longer exists.
