    Very good! I'm a "analogic pilot" and your videos are helping me to get more used with autopilots modes and automation in general. Keep it up and thank you!!

    Sir please can you tell me that if we delete the altitude restrictions in FMC so, will it not delete upcoming flight path? (Sorry for my English if did some mistakes because it is not my first language I hope you understand understand what I want to ask) please reply me.

      When you delete an altitude restriction on the vertical revision part of the CDU FMS, you will see that the FMC will refresh to update it's vertical flight path with a new preset altitude estimated by the FMC replacing the deleted restriction altitude.. Nothing else is affected...

    I have a confusion. While climbing to FL210.. why didn't we use level change instead of alt int?? Please clear my concept?

    • @FromStartupToShutdown
      @FromStartupToShutdown  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      As i said in that video that the ALT INT will take more time to delete the altitude constraints ,since it can only delete one at a time imagine if you have to delete 10 waypoints ! guess how many pushes on the ALT INT you need to do before you can select the target altitude . So i showed you an other way to bypass those constraints by using the LVLCHG...

    For the climb phase, we used level change despite all the alt restrictions. However, while descending we didn't use level change? I didn't understand the exact reason. Please clarify?

    • @FromStartupToShutdown
      @FromStartupToShutdown  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      While descending, i was in that particular example using an earlier descent, due to a strong tailwind .If you have noticed that descent was managed by the FMC, so in this case i couldn't change the descent mode from VNAV to LVLCHG to bypass the constraint altitude since i'm letting the FMC to manage my descent. Therefore the only way to bypass those altitude constraints is by deleting them using the LEGS Page on the CDU ...
