In America, African-American is synonymous with the title Black, as a jamaican-American, i don't call myself black, i check the OTHER box as Africa isn't a country and on my birth certificate it says my parents are from the WEST INDIES Jamaica, just like Kamala's dad, and her mother is from the EAST INDIES, aka India. Kamala isn't African American, Kamala isn't black, Kamala grew up in Canada, before moving back to America to go to a second college .... but somehow Kamala will show up with a southern accent to pander for some votes.🙄
Plenty on utube with her celebrating her Indian heritage… Janet Jackson has a point regarding authenticity..what’s wrong with being mixed race? My family is mixed English, Irish & Welsh resulting in a nice shade of pink.

I think Kamala's beautiful, and i was proud as a jamaican-American to have her until she started denying her heritage and calling herself African American, now she just comes off as fake, and ashamed of her west Indian & east Indian roots. Kamala's phoniness saddens me, SMH now she nary says anything about her roots from India, although she use to talk about it. She runs around with a southern-state accent saying she's African American, she's basically the politician version of Rachel Dolezal😓I'm so disappointed in her appointment.
