Amazing that almost 80 years after their groundbreaking designs of the 1930's and early 1940's, you can still look at this aircraft in side view and immediately recognize, "Yep, that's a Dornier."

I believe this aircraft is from the recently activated 427th Special Operations Wing, which, owns all of the aircraft that were originally owned, and operated by the 6th Special Operations Squadron, 27th Special Operations Wing, based right there at Cannon Air Force Base. I first found out about this new unit in the 2018 USAF Air Power Yearbook magazine, from Key Publishing.
