That Shaman is indeed wise! That profound Soul spoke great truth. If the old culture is left to die , Tuva will die. With a Renaissance in the traditional values and beliefs will lead to a Renaissance in the values and beliefs of the culture more broadly. Tuva stands a chance to survive the 21st century. We are indeed over civilized and could return to traditional and Indigenous values all over the planet, as a path a return.

Interesting ethnological story however it appears that the Tuvan culture is more akin to the Mongolian cultural traditions than the Chinese, for the mere fact that they were nomadic, and their music is similar to the Mongolians. The throat singing in particular is also Mongolian. You have neglected to mention that the Tuvan are direct descendants of the Golden Hordes, their ancestors were none other than Kublai Khan and Ghengis Khan. Their empire stretched throughout China to the Russian Steppes to Modern Russia, Ukraine bordering Poland. The Tatars are their kinfolk. The Crimean Tatars are their kin. The Tuvan are great horsemen and horseback archers. The most revealing cultural traits of the Golden Hordes that the European Knights feared. The only weakness of the Tuvan ancestors was their inability to construct siege weapons and combat engineering to conquer European Castles and fortifications. Otherwise, the Eurasians would have conquered all of Europe. No European Knight or peasant soldier could match the Mongol and Tatar horseback warrior. The Tuvan is the manifestation of the mighty Golden Horde. Sergey Shoigu the Russian Minister for Defense and the most powerful Russian General is a Tuvan

Shamanism isn’t a religion. It’s a practice that’s used all over the world. The Tuva however, taught natives about shamanism and that’s where the native people that are shamans get their practice of shamanism. Now it’s not the exact same as it is in Tuva because cultural things are incorporated.
