Nah, usually magnus' will win against weaker opponents by a huge margin as compared to hikaru as hikaru seems to play far more risky kinda style with obscure openings. But if you think magnus has the edge going in to the final, you are just wrong. i would say it's 60:40 in favor of hikaru, but if hikaru wins, the score will be relatively close, but if magnus wins, the gap might be larger. I am predicting a 15-12 for hikaru

Yeah the bullet section is way too long for this format. If you're better in bullet you can basically win the match down 5 points. It literally invalidates the 3 previous hours of blitz because in the end it all comes down to bullet.
Bullet section is just 30 min, rest of the match is blitz (roughly 4 hours of blitz) so that in the end it evens out in terms of # of matches. Regardless, MVL only had 1 point lead in the blitz section.

We just think blitz is maybe more relevant as a chess discipline :) Maybe less intuition and more calculation
