Nonsense. It works as a charm.
It needs a powerful CPU. My Thinkpad T450 can't run one instance well; my 5950X can run many easily, and indeed can run many Ostirus (the TI version). Once you have enough CPU power, it runs great. But it's emulating the virus by emulating the DSP it runs on, and then having that emulated DSP chip run the firmware rom. Not efficient, but it also means that, aside from the DAC, it functions essentially identically to a real Virus. I'm loving the sound of this and ostirus.
could you show in video how to install the plugin? I'm having trouble
what DAW are you using? FL Studio? Save the DLL file & bin file for Virus B or C into the same map where you store your plugins.
@@psy-lion I use FL studio, the DLL file that I couldn't find on the site, when I download it comes .VST3.
Where can i get the .dll file?

you are correct, however i am pretty sure they are based on almost identical engine... so there's only a slight difference
Huge difference. While abc has only va engine, ti has five engines. Currently viper supports wavetable and hypersaw engine so it works well along osirus
Not a TI. Onl a,b,c. While the basic sound engine is very similar there are big differences in synthesis functions.
WOW that sounds really massive, never really heard this close emulation to virus, and it sounds waaaay better than all the plugin synths together, and most important, finally something for OSX
yes, its very good soundwise but it tends to crash a lot and eats very much cpu
@@psy-lion indeed, ocassionaly crashing and cpu consumption is very high. But comparing this to a third party plugin i use on catalina in place of the old virus control plugin, it works perfect, and you have limitless instances possible. So still my no.1 virus plugin. Though feeling a bit sad that i do not need my old friend anymore :(

Welcome! As it seems it had already came out in February, however this appears to be the most stable version as of now! In case you experience any CPU issues i would suggest right-clicking anywhere in the GUI and changing the latency value, for example to 4 or 8 blocks.
