I lived 30minutes away and I didnt go... biggest regret of my life as he passed a few years after :( I didnt go due to being up all night shagging a bird so he wouldve approved though
Falmouth is a great town for book shopping. Between this place and Beerwolf, which is a bookshop/pub, you can find all manner of gems. Plus 15 or so charity shops whose shelves benefit from the ever-shifting student community. Also, Rik Mayall. Those two words alone say enough.
