So, with utmost sincerity, thank you for sharing your adventures with the world.
You've learned many skills over the past few years, but editing these videos have got to be the most impressive one. Surprised that camera had that much battery for recording that long.
Actually, it really bugs me. He is mixing inclusive and exclusive counting, and not really making any sense. It should be either "day 1, hour 1" or "0 days, 0 hours". Or, at the very least "day 1, 0 hours", which is still slightly confusing, but at least technically correct.
@@egodreas No he isn't because he isn't counting, he is creating a video, and the correct way to word it for that is whichever way the creator wants, making you just an annoying prick.
Try this with a S&G lock, they are considered high security dial locks. The opening gate isn't released until you physically push dial in at 0. So you get less rub on the gates as you use the dial. Edit: S&G = Sargent & Greenleaf
Not all Sargent and Greenleaf locks are like that. The one you're describing is made specifically to stop this method from working. But the 6700 model, and pretty much any group 2 safe combination lock, will work the same as the one Mike just opened.
Mike just found your channel and I've got to say, you are an inspiration Sir. These are the most horrible of days we are going through at the moment, but your videos have inspired me to get off my backside and learn something new. Absolutely fantastic channel Mike. Thank you.
I'm sure Mike knows this, but for everyone else, there are a lot of ways they engineer expensive vault locks to defeat this type of attack. I think I remember them saying using some plastic pieces to reduce friction and keeping you from detecting the gate by not interacting with it until you have done the whole combination.
I really have been enjoying the lock picking vids, I decided to go on Amazon and get myself a lock picking kit and I had fun learning how to use it with the help of your video. Thanks for the content
Still one of my favorite channels. You earned that title when you crossed that river swimming, that was some seriously impressive and motivating stuff. But in reality you already had that title with the kickflip video because I've been skating quite a bit throughout my life and I have never learned to kickflip.
Mike, Mike, Mike...I was so excited to see the lever drop! I am trying to crack an Amsec safe that, of course I lost the combo to. At first my brilliant idea was to beat it up a bit beacuase my thinking was "how strong can this safe be?" Well, it's very strong and the bashing didn't help my safe cracking attempts. I'm now trying to channel you and crack the safe. I hope that I can report I did it.
Mike: I made the stupid error of putting something valuable into something that might not even work. Also Mike: Sets random combination and puts valuable item back in safe.
From someone that understands these locks you done a brilliant job cracking it as looked like you didnt know these go in stages, rotation in oppisite direction resets disk infront as passes a point. There are different grade locks with times it should take to be able to crack them. Old locks 3 discs newer are 4 disc with false cutouts to misslead you. Great video. As excited as you were when you cracked it. 👍
Hi Mike! Great video 😃 I’m confused about something at 4:51, I get that the y axis on your spreadsheet is the numbers on the dial, but what is then axis measuring? Is it how loud the sound you are hearing is? Or something else
At 1:05 you can see the spline key inserted into LH (Left Hand) of the drive cam and then at 1:30 its in VD (Vertical Down) then again at 1:40 it's in RH (Right Hand). Most likely you had the correct combination but weren't turning far enough to the contact point of the nose because you had the key in the wrong position. I can't be the only one that noticed this!
Robber 1: We did it! We broke into this millionaire's house! Quick, crack open the safe! *Robber 2 pulls out spreadsheet* Robber 1: Oh no... this'll take a while...
Yes but as I said he doesn’t convince me he really didn’t know what the code was after all he bought it didn’t he, anyway if he is so clever why not just buy an old safe that’s already locked and NO one knows the code?…….well!
The Walmart MasterLock 3 number combination padlocks are really easy places to start. Ive cracked many of these in my days. Never actually used the skil to trespass or steal anything. Just practiced on random locks
With cheap Sentry Safes you can put slight tension on the handle and that’ll help you detect the gates. Those things only provide the illusion of security. I’d never “cracked” a safe and I was able to get one open after about 30 minutes.
