First off, I want to say I appreciate your hard work and time producing these videos. It's done quite a lot to assist in the acclimation and eagerness of moving to a new place.
Secondly, anything the media hypes up typically turns out to be a rugpull of sorts. Hearing the markets are gonna tank after nearly 20 years of YOY growth incites paranoia. Soon enough even a small pullback will create panic, creating more pullback, then we have this cycle until all overleveraging is paid and accounted for. Mass liquidation from the 1% to the 99%...

Another thing, look at who owns the media.
Then question who benefits from the agenda msm spouts...
Let me say it's not retail...

What about rental properties (cost) with a bit of historic character? Cost range? Small houses, condones, townhouses.

You can expect to pay around $1.00-$1.50 per square foot for rent in Olympia for a single family home. Of course that’s not set in stone. You can find cheaper rent and more expensive.

Speaking of “underwater”, how’s the flood plain there?

Not a huge concern unless you are right on a river or near a wetland
