However, in FIFA games (now FC24), they don't do that. It's worth remembering that for the top positions with the colored bars in the Premier League, for example, it indicates that you are guaranteed to have European football for the following season. Any positions lower than that don't have the same guarantee for you. In this particular game, 6th and 7th in the EPL are still possible to earn you a spot in Europe but you need to rely on the cup winners. 8th or lower will never give you any sort of European football unless the game is BROKEN In real life, there is no doubt that the people in the football clubs know more about the rules than the majority of us. You can finish as high in the league as you can but one result in the cup or anything like that could make your effort in the league turn into nothing NOTE: I have seen seasons in career mode where a team finished 6th in the Prem and still missed out on European football. NO JOKE.
Remove all man city players and put weak players and put the club in league 2, build man city from scratch and get them to the powerhouse they are now! I did this on my own career mode i kept youth players and put free agents to start off
