@@morganm5370 but was there any chance of confirmation? The reason so much of her story became horror and myth was because she disappeared. She was assumed to have gone back to Paris, but did she go into hiding? And if so, why would she have needed to if she was going to a completely different country?
I was scrolling through the comments, and I saw questions about why she just didn’t kill them first before taking the pancreas. Delphine LaLaurie was a REAL serial killer; she wasn’t going to make them comfortable. Also, this scene is more myth than truth based on the ghost stories of two authors (from what I’ve read). She did torture her enslaves (as of slavery wasn’t torture enough), but I doubt the pancreas youth potions were true. She was horrible even if we don’t know the specific details.
Why would you think it isn’t true? Do you understand how sick slave owners were? The absolute cruelty they inflicted?? Why do you think white people aren’t unmoved when they see or hear about Black people in pain? Because they were absolute animals to the ones they enslaved and continue to be unbelievably cruel in so many ways now. I wouldn’t put ANYTHING past them at all.
I think Sarah Paulson would’ve been a better lalaurie. If you’ve seen “ 12 years a slave “ you’ll understand. But Kathy didn’t disappoint either. Just my lil opinion.
I went on a haunted tour in new Orleans & we went to the house. The real story is way more fucked up than this show. They escaped & lived happily ever after. They're burning in hell now
As great as all the acting is, I don't know why they had to makeup a fake ending for Lalaurie. I think it is enough that she was found out due to a fire breaking out during a party, which is what happened irl. Wish they would have just done that scene instead of making up that Marie Laveaux killed her
I never get these vibes from her old bed 🛌 😂 ... The family joke is that it will break your Collarbone... we have owed the bed from the overseer house on 631 independence st since the 1870's... the top was burned 🔥 and My grand parents had it restored in the 1930s.
She was a real person and was very cruel and while I doubt she did any “magic,” she did starve, hang on hooks, and torture her selves so much that one cook thought it better to die in a fire than continue living with her. It was that same fire that exposed her cruelty and what the men that went to rescue the slaves after finally forcing the keys from LaLaurie saw made them sick to their stomachs.
Her resting place is in St. Louis cemetery. And, she died in Paris, France, not New Orleans by Marie. They should do better research before making a show or movie on any history.
Cajun Plaisance The real story of her death doesn't fit into the show because that would mean she wasn't buried alive for over a century. How boring would this show be without that little side story?

These aren't the droids you're looking for
Too funny 😂
I love how she casually goes back to giving the tour like nothing happened 😂😂
I would be hitting up the most expensive stores I could find and take my stuff to my mansion ( free, of course) if I could do that!
But she was never poisoned. She ran away that night of the fire and was never seen again. Some say she returned to Paris.
no she never ran away
TheScorpio Vampyre no is not fictional. Lalaurie was real but she disappeared, no one never found her
@@tammyjackson1026 she flead to Paris, it's a pretty well known fact

Kathy & Angela slayed their roles for the GAWDS!!!
Kathy Bates .. reminding us all.. she is one of the greatest actors in hollywood
Delphine had something in common with Fiona...their desire of immortality. Fiona was afraid of the next supreme and Delphine wanted to look young.
Delphine wasn’t interested in becoming an immortal, she wanted her husband to stop fucking other women, that’s why all the beauty treatments etc..
YT women’s worry 😂
Time is crueler to women. They’re given a short time frame, men arent held to that standard.
Not quite the same

In my opinion Asylum & Coven are the best two stories. Everything else after is so so. The other shows are getting too animated for me.

I can’t handle bloody shows and movies, but I just did a tour of where this was filmed, so it’s cool to see the scenes they filmed there!
Tastes like honeysuckle.... later Marie says this was a vial of her tears....
Doesn't mean it wouldn't have been mixed with other things too. Especially regarding the physical pain lalaurie was in
I like to think that she has tons of other magical abilities and attributes that came along with her immortality.
The pain and suffering of others was a joy to lalaurie.
Jessica Lange and lily Rabe were amazing in this series. Sarah Paulson tried to hold it but we should have a poll
I just picture the other customers being like "man what I'm totally trying this free tour next time"

Fiona's intuition is top notch, no wonder she is a supreme.
This was the season that SKYROCTED AHS FANDOM (fan base) this season was the "crossover" season!!
What does LaLaurie say at 2:06? I recognise it's creole language, but I don't find what she actually says.
"Who is Here". I heard Ici and Qui and in French that Who and Here. That's what i'm assuming since Creole and French have some similarities.
Do you have any idea how the written form would look like? (the original, creole version). I'm interested in languages.
Try Google translate.

Maybe that is how the spell worked. Magical spells are very specific, they might have needed to be alive.
