I couldn’t find any other calibration videos either, but you ended up no showing how to actually do the calibration
Grab the flats on the depth rod with something and twist while you hold the rod in a vice with soft jaws.
@@moosesmachinery are the roads two piece? I just got a vintage Lufkin 2-12, trying to get it calibrated. Your video taught me why the micrometer was as tight as it was, I thought it was just old and lack of use
@@aldodaniel1986 I do not know much about the lufkins but thr starett rods are two pieces
Show how to do it. ?
The tip of the extensions has 2 flats ground on it and screws in and out to adjust.Hold the knurled part and turn the tip to adjust
