How do you decide between sucker and psycho cut?

Sucker insuring a hit from behind, psycho increase damage for 3 hits. And if i remember correctly, psycho with unite goes powerful. Anyway psycho probably not for solo.

Sucker punch of the enemy team has a lot of squishy pokemon.
Psycho cut if they have a lot of tanky pokemon.
In this case, it was better for Cris to choose sucker punch because the only character he will struggle to fight against alone is goodra. Cinderace, Pikachu, Talonflame, and Blissey all lose to sucker punch in a 1v1 scenario.
Sucker punch negates all damage taken for the user once it’s locked onto a character. So, Cris can use it as a way of avoiding the enemy team’s heavy hitters (attackers and speedster).
It’s also worth noting that sucker punch provides more mobility than psycho cut, which makes it a better choice when fighting against an invader talonflame.
