The music today cannot touch the house music from 88/96 , the music from this era was pure and beautiful and everybody was friendly in the clubs unlike today when simply looking at someone can cause trouble . How society and culture has changed for the worse .
So much truth. My single biggest regret was being too young to go to house music clubs since I was a little kid in the late eighties and nineties. By the time I could go to clubs and bars, the genre went underground.
This is the truth, I wish I could experience the beautiful times you mentioned. Us young people still love a rave, but the music never conveys as much emotion as these tracks did. :(
That piano track indeed! First heard it on the junior boys own CD collection; a favorite to this day. Brilliant Indie dance label featuring The inimitable Farley and Heller among others
This tune along with Bob Marley Rastaman Vibration got me through a psychosis where I was sectioned and only had 2 CDs. This tune brings it down to brass tacks.
The DJ was Fabio Paras - I was lucky enough to see him at the Drum Club @ The sound shaft in London early 90s lost a few hours of my life that night in a good way 👍 immense 3am plodder - love it
Once saw weather all and fabi paras play BTB at villa Stefano in Holborn . Off my nut and not a care in the world I asked weatherall to play loaded for my mates birthday. Expecting to be fucked off. The very next tune after paras was indeed loaded. He was an absolute gent.
Music in the early 90's was just great wasn't it?? I was in Berlin and then Amsterdam in 92/93/94 and had the time of my life clubbing to tunes like this. This was one of my favourite Vinyls that is up in my attic now!
pure quality!! this and Nush/Nush.....fav. tracks from a time when going out to clubs was shit hot... the best of times. We where the lucky ones to have lived it.
I spent my 20 something years collecting dnb exclusively, loved dancing to house though, not so hard to keep up with. If I had to choose a house tune that summed up house for me it would be this one- really something about this tune...
OOfft...the piano breakdown in this. had forgotton about this track, it's tucked away on the shelf with all my other JBO tunes. So good....had forgotten it was Fabi paras too....how could I, with that percussion.
hell,it was so good back in the day,,top tunes such as this one.everyone a classic now.could listen to this one all night long,,and i just may do. brilliant
One of the few House tracks that eventually entered Steve Mason Experience on BFBS. It is fun to listen to this 20+ years later (no complaints) and see that the rhythm patterns are obviously great to dance to and then there's the flavor of the piano arpeggio on the special feature list. Would do great with the organ only
Proper,,still play it,,,sounds so good at 3 in the morning to a new crowd who were probably in nappys when i was ibiza shuffling to it in me kaftan..pink floyd hairstyle..moschino shirts..suade strides,,couple of doves,,henry of bolivian in a smart west end venue..without a care in the world..happy days...
Nick the Drip.... anyone got/had the old mixtape...remember???? with Nush/Nush,Slam Eterna, Soul System Lovely Day.... Proper tunage.... Big Up for the post....
Marysilk1 Today has been such a wonderful day, for finding spectacular tunes. That classic Mediterranean weather, must be absolutely brilliant. I miss the warm weather of Southern California, but the next time I get to experience a copious amount of heat, I think I'll appreciate it that mush more. If I was in Greece right now, I'd just be sitting on the beach, eating Kalamata olives. Enjoy yourself (: I wish I could join you for that little run (; Bisous, Mary.
Excellent my friend , U know i born and raise in Glyfada and were i live is the most beautiful areas i am just 5 min away to get to the beach!!! Hey When you visit Greece , come by here to enjoy , lots of entertainment , restaurants , bars, you name it! very touristic part of Athens! Merciiiiiii ;-))))))
Marysilk1 Glyfada seems very vibrant. But to be honest, I really love to experience a new country by living amongst its local population and experiencing their traditions to its core. I don't mind the mainstream tourist attractions, but I prefer to live the REAL everyday life of a local, if you know what I mean. I got to do that in Poland, and it changed the way I view traveling. I think mingling with the indigenous population is, by far, the way to go; they tend to know where to eat the best food and where to find the true hidden gems of the area. But hey, maybe you could be my tour guide (: Je t'en prie, mademoiselle.
cursivedubline5 I discovered your channel. Now I have to listen to all of your favourites. 100 a day for 12 days should do it! Your taste in music is mine.
Loosely based on generations of love. True story ♥️ Edit: Laughing at myself here. I just scrolled down the comments and saw I made a similar one five years ago hahaha
May be I am getting old but there is just not that buzz, that excitement the build up. All the endless phone calls to sort out round ones and lines. Clubbing was an occasion, something as an apprentice was a huge expense but i didnt care Cause I knew I loved it. NOW I JUST SIMPLY MISS IT> :-( But the memorys will live on forever .........

I'm very sorry but I am going to have escort you outside for having beautiful thoughts, we don't allow that in this establishment ;-)

Hi Aaron (is this your Name?) ! Here Thomas answers. This Track 's very old - don' t think so.?
This tune along with Bob Marley Rastaman Vibration got me through a psychosis where I was sectioned and only had 2 CDs.
This tune brings it down to brass tacks.
Went to the other side ay? Good to hear you're okay, wouldn't mind hearing more about your psychosis and how the music helped ye.👍
❤️
Music is medicine, heard varying stories that any sort of music can help sort of issue/rough times.. from depression to psychosis
I'm blessed to have this on vinyl. Still hits me all these years later
For me, this is by far away, the deepest piano house track i've ever heard. Tingly good mood.

Junior Boys Own, what a label, what a track.
pure quality!! this and Nush/Nush.....fav. tracks from a time when going out to clubs was shit hot... the best of times. We where the lucky ones to have lived it.
You know what? Dance music isn't typically my thing, but this is some amazing house music if ever I did hear it!
Massive!
The piano breakdown was "borrowed" from Generations of Love by Jesus Loves You (Boy George).

R.I.P Grant Lagastas- Best House DJ I ever knew.
found this for $1- best dollar i ever spent- its one of my piano gems!!!
Alucinante, tiene la esencia pura de los años 90s.
I bought pretty much everything released on JBO in the 90s. From The Dust (later Chemical) Brothers to Roach Motel.
. . .break it down and build it up. What an era.
love it! builds up like Lance Armstrong used to before an important race! Firing!
The Night and this are tbe best tracks of jbo for me. 😍
Classic!

your right about that mate sickened to have missed it all what happened eh music today just isnt the same :(
Great!!!!!!!!!!!
Put in a search for Liquid tunes as well. The same sound for those who remember decks in the boot of the car.
love
Ace track . Many fond memories mixing this tune with other stuff rather badly :)
its not the mixing skills that make a dj stand out its the choice of tune , if each track can stand by itself then you wont go far wrong
@@anthonyshipton2959 Exactly, it's all about the selection.
