It’s like they’re hoping for results without putting in anything first. Investing in yourself and your business really is the key to making things happen. Editing, content creation, talking in front of the camera, and etc has been a bit of an investment in time and money!

I'm 3 years into running my photo/video business and the way that I got that upfront experience was through doing free work- I'm a firm believer in doing free work to build an aligned portfolio. That free work still serves me on my website today so I am forever grateful for that upfront investment. Now I'm shifting my focus to the education piece and marketing/messaging and getting a consistent content cadence. Thank you again!
