It feels good to have someone react to this album the same way I did. The appreciation for Willow is so real!

So happy to see someone else geeking out about this album! The technical skills and innovative creative approach to this whole project is so wonderful. She's so inspiring to me as a fellow singer-songwriter. Similar to what Brandy did with her album "b7", Willow is pushing her existing style to new heights by trying a slightly new direction. The beauty of any art form is trying to expand, grow, and challenge the existing norms, and Willow is doing that beautifully here! Great video @the_relm 😄

I just found out about how great Willow is through her collab w/Yungblud. This lp is sooo sophisticated, complicated, and poetic. I forgot how much I love jazz. Amazing, talented young woman. Now, YOU are fun to watch. I've subbed, of course. I love what you add to the music, the reviews. You sound very knowledgeable. 😊❤

omg!! I'm glad I'm not the only one thinking that about pain for fun...I was literally thinking this has such a 90s feel and I couldn't figure out why. But when you said Thom Yorke, I actually screamed because you're soooooo right!! It's literally Karma Police with the drums...even the key of the song

OMG, YESSS!!! I just screamed reading your comment as well because I was still trying to figure out what the song reminded me of. Thank you so much for watching 🎉❤

this album, to me, is very much a spiritual successor and more produced version of 'The 1st'! That one was (I think?) her writing and playing it herself, so it's very acoustic and turned down, but is equally experimental at parts. It's my favorite of hers, but this one is really climbing up there. Loved this video, can't wait to watch more from your channel!

loved the reaction 🥰 and you should definitely check st vincent out! she's a progressive/art-rock and experimental artist, insanely creative! she has a new album out too but i would suggest dig some of her past work like strange mercy and the self-titled!

Your facial expressions are everything! So happy I found your review - subscribed. Your feedback is very similar to the way that I interpreted this album!

I have listened to the song multiple times now. Although it's still not my favorite, it's certainly grown on me 😄. I kinda knew it would, hence I wasn't too harsh on it. ❤

Thank you for this!! Not enough people are reacting to this album. What’s the name of the South African jazz musician you named? I can’t get the spelling right

Coping mechanism actually isn’t a punk album. It’s definitely not metal, but I would say it’s closer to metal than punk

Coping Mechanism definitely has a much more mature sound in production, but I remember feeling underwhelmed when the album dropped (I don't even remember what my initial thoughts were). I only really know and remember two songs and they happen to be emblematic of the punk rock sounds from LIFE. But, as I've said, I'm more than willing to react to the album 🤭 depending on the responses to this video.

My only complaint is all her albums and songs are way to short 😆. I listen to all her albums in one day at least every other week

Tbh, most of this album just sounds like a hiatus kaiyote/ solange rip off ngl

I hear you. I actually did say that I am reminded of Solange's music a lot, but I haven't heard of Hiatus Kaiyote and their music. Did you find any song/s that felt original, though?
