Rhythm of flow, song structure, having pitch variance that’s in key, stick to a couple flows and structure the bars of 4, 8, 16, change words when repeating the verses, sometimes the chorus too
It's not as hard as people actually think.. when I write I sing the melody before the lyrics EVERY time without fail. Sometimes I write all the lyrics with the beat in my head. Then produce the beat over the lyrics later on.
