I’ve heard some people say that he was being mean no he wasn’t playfully sarcastic is Jamie’s default setting and forcing her to call him sarge and admit she was wrong was classic Jamko banter
Again, people were complaining about Jamie's behavior? Seriously? I thought this was much more classic Jamie behavior when it came to winning some type of argument he had going on with Eddie, especially on the force. I found it rather funny between them and much more like THEM personally speaking.
It's way past time that Janko receives recognition for her police AND detective work. Saving her partner, killing a hit man in a moving car, catching the Bushwick Butcher and now this. I see her getting both recognition and a promotion. It would change the Jamko situation, but that doesn't have to be a bad thing. She's earned more than a slap on the back for her contributions and sustained growth as a cop.
The setup of Eddie and Maya hiding in a broom closet was a little odd, but the payoff of Jamko bantering and seeing Eddie and Anthony working together was priceless. "I'll crap!" I laughed out loud when Eddie said that.
This might be grooming Eddie into either a NYPD Detective or investigator with the Manhattan DA. Now THAT I would love to see with Tony and Eddie as partners and Eddie's sister in law as her boss?
It's a theory of policing which holds that the police targeting lesser crimes (such as fare jumping) leads to a decrease in major crime. The broken window is used as an analogy. When a criminal sees a broken window it sends a signal to him that the community is in decline and doesn't care what happens so crimes are much easier to commit and get away with. However, if all the houses are kept in good shape, the streets clean, etc. then it's a signal that the community is one which is concerned about what happens in it so crimes would be either harder to commit or harder to get away with. So, the police targeting lesser crimes sends a signal that crime is not tolerated in that community. I know I don't do the theory justice, but hopefully this gives you some idea.
Thanks for the quick upload! I have a question... I also do ship Dawsey of Chicago Fire and I only find edited videos with lots of music in the background. Would you mind doing Dawsey scenes videos? Thank you!
Watch this show often. Eddie and Jamie are in love?! Such a lack of passion between them. In other scenes, too. Their love very studied. Sticking to lines of script that lacks emotion rather than real life. In the privacy of his office he wants Eddie to call him "sarg" . . .instead of Jamie? Could see that if other cops around. So studied. And Jamie's her boss? Imagine if your wife were your boss, or, other way around, you're a wife and you husband were your boss. I've been in love, and if working together, given an unseen moment, my to-be wife and I would sneak off in corners and hug. Imagine working all day with spouse around. Very male oriented. Jamie's always ordering Eddie around or ignoring her. When patrol partners (before Jamie's promotion), Jamie always drove patrol car, except when they first met and Eddie jumped into the car and drove before Jamie would stop her. And Maya stealing? Apartment rigged up? I guess Maya no longer on show. Why her? She had a short spell.
Stan Marcus You have to remember they're trying to separate work and home. And Jamie was partly teasing when he wanted Eddie to call him, "Sarge." It's just another layer they can add to separate public and private lives. I didn't really like the combo of Eddie and Maya, so it didn't shock me much that her character was written out. It was fun to see Eddie with Anthony, but I hope it doesn't become a permanent thing.
"I love these stripes"
I love this Jamie. I missed this Jamie. I miss this side of Jamko. I loved this scene.
Jamie.
Jamie?
Sarge.
Lmao this had me dead and Jamie's sarcasm is everything
literally golden 10/10 writing right there
"It's broken windows, Janko. Broken windows."
Once again classic Jamko ... best couple ever❤️

LovelyLies16 people complain too often about far too many things
This scene was completely in character for them. It was hilarious.
@@BlueDauntless Right? I completely agree.
@@LovelyLies16 Yes! I miss their playful banter.
Yes! The Banter is back! I missed this!

Sh*t or get off the pot was one of my father's favorite saying. It was so funny to hear it tonight.

@@BassmanII I've wondered that too. Eddie's solved some big cases in the past year.
@@BassmanII I think she'd be a great detective!
“I’ll crap” was the funniest line ever!
Jamie? Sarge. Lol.
Ughhhh would have been hella cute if Jamie would have said "So I guess you're calling your sister-in-law!!" 🎉🎉🎉
They aren't married yet. And I don't think anyone in their precinct knows they're together.
@@BlueDauntless I know they're not married!! I just think it would be cute!! Aaaaaaand I think his office is not in the open ...
@@BlueDauntless they know now.
I loved this scene!
3:51, And His face when she said I'll crap, LOL it killed me
*I'll crap!!*
😂😂😂
Don't know if I've missed this, but has Eddie ever told Maya that she and Jamie are "involved"?
Which is odd since she brought him lunch one day. Lol
No one knew until after they actually got married.
What does "it's broken windows" mean?
