God, not being able to pick the stability option on that decision because of morals is TOO REAL. I flinch every time I see it.
To be fair, stability is also precious to Mexico in this game.
i feel you on the event popups. on one hand, objectively better choice. on the other, my personal beliefs and politics....
I think Victoria 3 is the only game I can play where I don’t care about my personal morals; if the line goes up, I’m doing good.

For some reason Trotsky does not show up for me most of the time, I usually have to restart like 3 to 5 times for him to show up on historical. And no, I didn't take antidisestablishmentarianism. I never understood what is wrong with my game

I really can't understand how you can beat Spain so easily. I did the same run as you, in fact, I won first against Portugal, I attacked Spain and they had MANY more divisions than you, secondly even though I bagged them, they recover organization madly, much more than me who have the supplies. I don't know if it's a bug, but the bags don't go down
You need to attack right after Civil War ends.
I've been finding pretty successful strategies for what I think people view as some of the more difficult achievements like Danelaw and Macau my day and I haven't found any updated strategies for it on here
Is there a reason to do Transport Ships _before_ Electronic Mechanical Engineering? It's not like you're doing any naval invasions before you can finish _both_ of them, so why not do Electronic Mechanical Engineering first and get the research bonus earlier? Unless I'm missing something, of course.
Because I kept on forgetting to research it lmao. No other reason. Just kinda a “get it done before I forget again” kinda deal.
@@thetibbiesshow Got it. I also tend to occasionally forget stuff like Transport Ships, and the 3% research bonus isn't exactly _massive,_ so that makes sense.
Same with him researching mountaineers and then not using them for 5 years lmao… great guide though, with room for some min maxing
28:13 the middle one of the MIO you queues up first doesn’t do anything to arty, only anti tank and AA. Middle two are best, then right two, then left side

@@unisock I tend to find their salsa a little bland so I always tend to request cat in Pace.
The only thing that can go wrong here is that the Archbishop Pascual Díaz doesn't pass away before you complete "Revolutionary Women". If that happens you either have to wait it out, or accept the fact that you can't get antidisestablishmentarianism.
If that happens, just do the focus before “abolish capital punishment”. I forget the name, but it’ll raise you one church level.

I did this thing where I allowed it to get all the way to atheist state with a focus, then did another focus that would normally raise it before doing one that lowers it. The timer it gives you is rather generous.
Did anybody have the problem of not being able to select a port to do the naval invasion out of spain from. I had both docking rights and military access but it wouldnt let me plan naval invasions into portugal
You can't invade from a country that is not in war with any other country.
If you are allied to Nat Spain in war agains Rep Spain you can plan a naval invasion to Portugal because they let you use their territory to launch an invasiom from, does not matter to where.
That is why you need to declare war in rep spain and launch the naval inv before they defeat rep spain. You could also declare on Anarchist Spain to make suee you have more time.

i think if you annexed all of spain, then released them through your politcial screen, spain would get all cores. nationalist spain lost all the cores due to the spanish war

I don’t think so. Pretty sure they need to be independent to take that decision, but honestly, I don’t know for sure. If they can while being a puppet, then that’s massive.

So any tips on how to defeat portugal at the northern river? Its taking me far too long
Few things you could do.
1: Pull back some troops to clear up supply
2: pull back to the middle of the country and push forward again, this time with a focus on encirclements
3: try a naval invasion and see if you can’t make a new front in the far north.
The first two options are far more likely to work.

Like how you said you can be lazy sometimes getting entrenchment and planning bonuses, I too am also lazy in terms of supply and this hurts me more than anything. In the end I made a naval invasion to the northern most town and luckily it wasn't defended. But by the time I was at war with Spain it was already a year after you, going to try again. Thanks a mil and a great video!
@@seancosgrove9179use the marines you used for the naval invasion for pushing across the river or split the invasion in 2, 2 marines on the top port and Lisbon each, and land the surrounding tiles and force attack from the sides
