Legislating for everything that anyone might consider hate speech would lead to more pages in lawbooks than tax law. It is unworkable. However, we should still have laws covering libel, slander and incitement to violence. Let's restrict law to cover actual harm rather than hurt feelings.

Hey, here's a thought. Instead of dreaming up nonsensical new laws why doesn't the government get on with governing? Why not try to organise the economy better so people can live a decent life? Why not do something about the crimewave that's rampant in society? Why not cease giving taxpayer funds to terrorist organizations? Why not stop importing more troublemakers into the country?
