ITS THE PLAYOFFS! Hockey Continues. The 2024 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs Post-Season.
It is now the Big-Time, the Final Four, Western, Eastern Conference 3rd Round Showdown. As -OAD Oilers After Dark -B.W. -Braydon has been doing with his round-by-round NHL Playoffs Round Previews. It continues with the West, East, Final Four Round 3 Match-up's.

WESTERN CONFERENCE

DAL-✰ vs. EDM-💧- Edmonton in 7 Games over Dallas
In now just two Teams remaining in the Western Conference, the Battle of the Best of the West. The Hungry, and Top Potential Edmonton Oilers coming off of a Hard Fought 7 Game Series Win over the Vancouver Canucks. This with the overdue and ready to Win Veteran Depth Ladened Dallas Stars, coming off of a Convincing Solid 6 Game Series Win over the Top Colorado Avalanche.
On-paper it is a slight mismatch for the Oilers, with Dallas having the Best Team in the NHL. However, Edmonton having the Team with the Most Potential. Although Dallas has Stars, No Weaknesses, on Offence, Defence, especially, as well as most specifically Goalie, along with 5 Potential Future Hall of Famers. The Oilers are Primed and Ready to show it is their year, in it needing to be, as if not now, when. The only thing is the same can be said for the overripe Dallas Stars with some players have the Most Games Played without a Top Trophy to show for it.
This could be a coin toss series that could come down to Depth, Goaltending, Intangibles, and often the difference makers in a Long Top Series like this. It may very well come down to who wants it more, who is willing to push themselves past their limit of comfortability, as well as some Luck to go along with it.
Dallas in overdue for a Stanley Cup, knocking on the door for several years, with Many Young Players now Mature, as well as Top Veteran Stars who know what to takes to Win, and won't take no for an answer.
Edmonton on the other hand, has similar Experience, and the extra Star Power to boot. Although they won't be a Major Favorite like the past series, they need to need to match the Intensity in Vigor, Heart, and 'Will to Win' if they want to Finally Finish their Story, and Claim what they believe will Finally be there's.
For this reason, and always betting on the Top Players over any Depth - even if it's unlike we've ever seen with this Stacked Dallas Squad.
We are ultimately taking the Edmonton Oilers over the Dallas Stars in as Hard a fought series as the Oilers Will Play, even in years to come.

NYR-🗽 vs. FLA-🐾- Rangers over Panthers in 7 Games
Only a pair of Teams also remain, this in the Eastern Conference, to help make up the Top Four. The Top NHL Standings Team the New York Rangers who dispatched of the favorited Carolina Hurricanes in 6 Games. As well as the Experience Ladened Florida Panthers who also knocked out their opponent, the Boston Bruins, in 6 Games.
This is a battle of Depth, and Experience, as it always seems to be when it comes down to the Final Teams. The only difference is New York doesn't have it, however, are getting it now. Meanwhile, Florida having been here last year, wanting to return to the Stanley Cup Finals and make right this time.
Although the Panthers a Favorite on paper, and in giving the Rangers a harder challenge than some may think, it will be a Majorly Hard Fought 7 Game Series, just as the West Series.
As we predict it will be the New York Rangers in the end putting it all together.
This in 7 games for the Rangers.
