MOH signs two infrastructure contracts

Government has signed a contract to construct five level one hospitals and 127 health centres across the country worth over 427 Million United States dollars.
And Stoutone Investment Limited has signed a 31 Million Kwacha contract for the completion of Ikelenge District Hospital in North Western Province.
Speaking during the signing ceremony of the two contracts, Health Minister ELIJAH MUCHIMA said the development means that Zambia is closer to attaining universal health coverage for all.
Dr. MUCHIMA said of the five hospitals, Western Province will have two, Central; Southern North-Western will have one level hospital each.
