    eastwood is one of the older areas for middleclass. its close to Megamall,Robinsons Galleria and shangrila mall and many other mall in ortigas area. Its close to makati ,bgc and SM city edsa ,Trinoma and Vertis without the traffic.(Try Vertis Mall, for middle class, near Trinoma) QC is the biggest city in metro manila. There are hundreds of gated subdivision in Quezon city that many expats dont know or explored thats why many expats think that gated subdivision is limited in metro manila. I think the gated subdivision of Metro Manila you should be exploring soon. You will be surprise!

    • @ronnienestor
      @ronnienestor 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Agree. Many foreigners are not aware that hundreds of gated residential communities exist in Metro Manila that cater to middle class and upper middle income Filipinos. As per latest census 2020 on housing, 5% of Metro Manila’s residents are informal settlers or squatters. The vast majority have homes with toilets, 95% literacy rate, etc.
      For the gated subdivisions, they are manned with guards for security but anyone can visit inside and just leave an ID.

    Eastwood City is actually as expensive as other business districts like BGC, Ayala Center (Makati), and Ortigas Center. It's developed by Megaworld -- the same real estate company that developed Uptown Bonifacio, Forbes Town, McKinley Hill, McKinley West, Newport City, ArcoVia City, etc.

    • @itsJustinSpencer

      I do not think the rents are the same on average. I’d have to double check myself, but im reasonably confident the Cost to rent per square meter is less on average.

    The street is blocked off today for a Red Bull event. There is a concert going off across the street. Eastwood is a New Years destination. Tinder events with bands (pretty funny). The building showed is One Eastwood, Tower 2 where Hidilyn Diaz lives, the first Filipino Olympic gold medalist. None of us own cars b/c it is walkable. The night scene is FAMILY -- leading toward the dull bachelors.

Simply because Filipinos are music minded and most of us can really sing. so if you do Basking make sure you are really good that people will like it.

Philippine could be one of the most progressive and rich country in the world. from the country side with the top Beaches in the world, Sites and Sound , Worlds Famous Festivals, Diverse Custom and Traditions, and the most of it is the Extra-ordinary hospitality of the Most English- Speaking Filipinos.
