So many funny secrets and I only knew maybe 10 of them! You can clearly tell that Croteam SERIOUSLY love their game. So much love and passion is put to it.
Makes sense,right? They(Croteam) just created the code/game, but absolutely none of them know all the secrets because they are...what?.....stupid?....had a massive memory loss?......didn't look when they inserted them?.... .Brilliant observation.
I bet they could possibly forget about some of these secrets. There is a massive number of them. And there's the big chance that there's still a secret that nobody found just yet.
I found about 85%-90% percent of the secrets in the original SS:SE when I did not have internet or any guides at all. Most secrets were awesome and surprising to discover. Love this game.
Dude the giant floating eyeballs in the sky that became a giant Kamikaze blew me away as a kid, I was totally mindfucked by that. It's one of my fav secrets in any game to this day.

astronavigator1812 I have an original copy of HD I loaded it up last night to check again and yeah it didn’t kill me. It wouldn’t let me blow up or shoot any enemies or characters just the scenery. In my old OG pc version I could blow them all up or shoot them but it didn’t hurt or kill me. Idk what version you’re playing but it could be a glitch. That’s my guess.

Hello guys well, as it seems i have found a secret that strangely doesnt count as one and it isnt anywhere on youtube. when on city of gods, instead of taking the slide as normally (9:16) you go from beneath instead. this will spawn 3 serious ammo pack, 3 hearts, and 1 serious armor. BUT while you are taking your slide you fall onto some spikes and die without even counting as a asecret. i play on sd.
9:17 if you Jump to the right or left before the slide you go under It and reveal two hearts, two bags of ammo and a +100 armor. Then you die on spikes 😂

I remember going to that big rock in the valley of the jaguar countless times and I knew there must be a secret, but it never triggered that the rock comes down.

I've watched this start to finish, and I do believe he missed a secret :/ In one of the early corridors, there is a sparkly torch/lamp that teleports you above the hallway.
For me, The First Encounter was the best. The formula was fresh, the secrets were awesome, the setting was awesome, somehow they did Egypt interesting and deserts were an excuse for huuge empty areas, which didn't work in the next game at all, crazy big and unlogical arenas. I mean, Sam never been realistic at all, but FE fells like an competent game with level design, SE felt like playing Garry's Mod, or some unity shit lol. The Moon Mountains were BEAUTIFUL, The Dunes and sand effect after werebulls were EPIC, the last boss fantastic and easter eggs so, everything was in place. The Second Encounter was like a map pack, everything was 2x bigger and emptier and everything we'd already seen before.
the secret: 29:34 the XM214-A Minigun (in my case) does not appear the big houses with two floors, rather other smaller ones appear but it does not appear. Does anyone know what is happening?
I wish there was a Classic version of this guide, I've had a hard time finding one on YT which focuses solely on secrets, most of them are full game walkthroughs with secrets included, but that's a bit tedious. There are definitely some differences between the classic and HD versions.

the problem is just that if your playtime is more than 15 mins on citadel it will open but it will close after 5 mins so uhh when you reach the arena the first house on your left is where the secret at and if you wasted alot of time you can just open the door with 10 rocket (its litterally the comment above me) anyway i hope you understand it

well, there are capsules with bosses from previous Sam's adventures in that room looks like capsule in front of Sam is empty, probably waiting for a wizard boss from the end of the Grand Cathedral Or may be even for Mental himself, since that capsule is bigger

9:15 theres a hidden secret under the slide, but its always death. as you slide so much red packs spawn and armor then DEAD by spikes.

Its not secret 600 armor 300 health full ammo and visit some spikes

You missed one secret. 9:16 When you roll down an incline, you need to jump over the railing sideways and go down under the incline.

It's ammo packs, and they don't count towards the secret count on the statistics page which is why it's not on the video.
