I marched Macy's Parade in 1990, with the JCJC (Jones College Typhoon), and I've marched with the Pride (SouthernMiss). Last night was my first time ever seeing a high school score a 92.000 in competition. I got 2 family in your auxiliary.

Agreed! The hard work paid off. I was part of the 1st Jones Junior College group to March Broadway for Macy's in 1990. You have to be INVITED to that little party. Keep at it, South...you guys are on your way to HUGE things! You guys can pay your college tuition with music if you keep this up, no matter what major you want!!!

Hey, SJHS?! You guys send up some prayers for Lake Cormerant's Drum Major. She fell last night getting to her platform...the 4ft ladder crumpled with her on it. That's why they went last! Pray she's ok, today...you guys were busy and may not have seen what the crowd did. She took a NASTY fall. Her name is Emily.

@@emilyreiners1870 I was Drum Majorette in 1989 of a 45 people group, and stood on a 2-step conductor's podium. I am 50 now, and my left knee gives me fits. Osteoarthritis is hereditary. I was so scared ya hit your head!!! My Dad built houses! I'm not real fond of painting in my house n on those ladders! LOL!!!
