That is so cool that you are aiming to work for Emirates as well! It's tough and narrow road but I hope I can be a support to you through this channel until you become a flight attendant! How long have you been applying for?
That's great chat. Here's cabin crew from Hong Kong. For the self introdcution , customer oriented, team player, active listening and caring personality are the major role for persuading interviewers that you are capable for being flight attendant. More important is to show the understanding of the cultural differences of different nationalities which showed your respect to everyone. And what's more is the problem solving skills by doing some role play scenarios in interviews especially related to the first aid and emergency cases. Eye contact, natural smiling , facial expression, and your body gestures also would be taking into account during interview. And you have to be think of answer a question that why you choose to be flight attendant instead of other customer services position ? Why do you choose my airline instead of other middle east airlines or International Carriers? Keep it up and sure you will make it soon.
Hi Jeremy! Thank you so much for being so supportive and helpful with your great interview advice and tips! I'll make sure to keep these in mind when I have my next interviews! Hi Sowdee, thank you so much for taking the time out to be kind! I'm so glad this video inspired you! I hope that I can support you through my channel with your dreams. How are you going with airline interviews?
Kaito looks like he works out. On a side note, although I know that it sounds odd, does Emirates and other airlines pick or discriminate against potential candidates based on size and build? A friend of mine got into SIA (Singapore Airlines), but they told him at the outset that he was kind of 'big' (more on the muscular side) and might need to cut down on the weight. As a result, after getting through selection, he intentionally cut back on his own bodyweight from 83kg to 71kg, chiefly by switching around his diet to a more vegetarian one. He was basically at 176cm height-wise. That was kind of insane from my perspective. Hopefully, you do not go through that kind of unspoken-of situation.
Hi Kevin, thanks so much for watching and supporting my channel! Haha thanks for noticing, do you work out as well? Congratulations to your friend! SQ is very difficult to get into! He must have done very well! Unfortunately, discrimination based on appearance and weight is pretty common for Asian legacy airlines and Middle Eastern airlines. Thankfully airlines based in western countries have laws against discrimination! Orlando from Wishcasting (Emirates tutorial channel) talks about the importance of BMI at Emirates on this video. Check it out when you have time th-cam.com/video/E4THZtBvWGE/w-d-xo.html Are you wanting to become a flight attendant as well?
@@CabinCrewChat I watched out of interest, not so much because I wanted to fly, now that I am more or less stable in my job for a year or more. I tried with SIA (Singapore Airlines) many many years ago (back in university days) but did not get through, partially because I felt that my vibe and personality did not agree with SIA as a whole. After that, I went onto other industries. I work out a lot, being a former personal trainer and competitive athlete, so I think that I seriously will not be able to fit in with the SQ requirements of weight! (A bit 'overweight' for my height, although I do not look like it. But that's not fat!)

I am a Filipino and my great grandfather is a Chinese. In my place here, we kind of needed to study 3 languages both at school and in daily lives. It is because there is English subject in our curriculum and English is a big thing in the Philippines to the extent that some measures the level of intelligence of someone if he or she knows English. Tagalog as well is a subject in our curriculum and our national language wish is important for us to study to be able to connect to people with different languages within our country because Philippines really has many language. In my side, Cebuano or Bisaya is my local language which I used in my daily life and so I acquired it in my daily life to life bases. On the other hand, my dream of becoming a flight attendant is really alive. Hopefully I could be enough and maybe on a higher level for me to reach my dream. Thanks.
Wow you are so talented! To be able to speak 3 languages fluently must be such a big advantage! It's so awesome to learn that the education system is allowing multiple languages to be used.
