No doubt mike, best gingel EVER, my family was one of many that started riding because of this campain, great times (family) ended up with two F7's and a SL 175(honda), we also had a G4TR trail boss, my very first bike, I still have my F7. Damn PTSD , made me cry over this.....three times.

And well deserved. Absolute iconic jingle. The 1970s seemed to be the pinnacle of talent in commercial jingles. Songs that you couldn't get out of your head, but that was okay!!!

Kawasaki's jingle summed up the whole Seventies as I remember them. That was truly the decade of "let the good times roll". We need that groove back so bad now

I love watching videos of classic motorcycle commercial. Lots of great bikes.
Thanks to Koups Cycle Shop for posting this 12 years ago. They are still doing a great business today. I have done business with them for many years. Stop by and say "Hi" to Dave. I'm sure he would love to know that people are still enjoying this video in 2024.

Wow, That was Completely Excellent!!! What a great thing having these old commercials!!! I bought a 100 Enduro Orange colored in Feb 1973 from Palm Bch Kawasaki for 429 bucks!! My very 1st bike ever!! I was 17 yrs old and now I'm 63 and just bought a new 2019 Z900RS. You never lose your love for bikes!!! I know I havent!!

That bright happy Kawasaki tune is certainly a 70's , 80's very fond memory . My first bike was a souped up 73 H1D 500 triple 2 stroke . That bike was fantastic ! In it's souped up state that thing was so bloody powerful . No other 500's could touch it . Even the 4 stroke 750's . COME OUT AHEAD ON A KAWASAKI ! ! ! and LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL ! ! ! BRING BACK THOSE GOOD TIMES ! ! !

I remember all of these awesome Kawasaki adverts. Now, just add a Kerker Kicks @ss Pipe and Let the Good Times Roll...owned and loved all my Kawis throughout the years: kz650, GPzs 305, 550, 750 and 1100, and Zephyr 750. All twin cam, 2 valve, air cooled motors and all OUTSTANDING. Thanks for posting this great vid!

I had a 750 in 1974, I was 19 and it was very fast. Any trip longer than 2 hours would put your but to sleep and it didn't handle hard braking from over 100. Sold it before it killed me.

3:41 Based out of Los Angeles, these are The Ron Hicklin Singers, with Gene Morford as the soloist. One of the all-time great vocal performances on a commercial jingle.
4:11 Mal Sharpe is the interviewer. He was famous for his "man on the street" interviews. He worked out of LA and San Francisco but he never lost his Boston accent.

Can you remember when 100 cc was a decent size bike and a 250 cc or 350 cc was more than enough? hard to believe, when only a few years alter, it seemed everyone had a 750 cc and many pushed for 1000 cc. Today, 1200, 1300, 1500, or more is the way to go. Maybe it is just because the bikes got huge. This is a great set of commercials.
