From 1981-87 I worked at the Essex St campus of North Shire Community College….now the Senior living center mentioned . Many nights after closing on the 3rd floor of the back building I’ve heard doors slamming. Often we would do a search of that building and found nothing. And walking up there at night I would get a chill up my back , gave me the creeps .
I once went to the Beverly Commons (colloquially known as "Witch's Wood") with a relative of mine, after having read that the location was allegedly haunted. Though neither of us experienced anything out of the ordinary, I will say that the forest there is... "dark", by which I mean that the trees along and beyond the trails are huddled together, and the leaves form a dense canopy above. Plus, we saw very few people around, and the day was overcast, which definitely darkened the atmosphere.
Would love to learn more about my childhood home! 9 Columbus ave, I think it’s 120 years old now. It used to be a big red house and was painted blue sometime after 2013
I attended Briscoe Jr High and graduated from there in 1970. My father also went to school there. Haunted? Not back then, but the residual build up of so much youthful energy over many years is the most likely cause of paranormal energy. Many years later I owned an old one room school house and yep it was 'haunted' in a wonderful way. Flashes going by the windows during the day and the faint sound of children playing outside. The last class at that school was in 1959.
Thank you so much for sharing your story!! I do believe this may be the case in a lot of these school hauntings. A lot of times there's no name to go along with the ghost, and no recorded deaths there, but I do believe some of the stories told by witnesses is true. Places like schools seem like places where a lot of passive energy would build up over years.
@@GhostQuestUSA_TV There was a female student in our entire BHS 7th grade class ... which was my class back then. She went missing and was found murdered at Hurd Stadium in Beverly. (1968) It was a shocking incident, the details were very bad and it left so many of us reeling. Her murderer was caught and went to prison. I highly doubt she would be haunting the old building so out of respect for her, (and any of her remaining family and friends) I will not include her name. Gosh that was 53 years ago!! I'll also bring up the fact that many teachers were at Briscoe for years and retired from there. My lovely 8th and 9th grade English teacher being one of them. Could be they visit from time to time :) Are there specific paranormal incidents going on besides the general ones in your video? Personally, I'd love to find out that some ghost was using the old Home Economics room (2nd floor) and baking snickerdoodle cookies. First recipe I ever made there.
@@Rags2Itches Oh wow, that is very sad.. I had no idea about the murder you mentioned. I imagine that's something you never forget.. wow. And I agree, maybe sometimes the spirits of those whose fond memories live on at the location come back to visit... if I were a teacher I'd always come back to check in on the kids once in awhile!! So now to answer your question, I do sometimes write/narrate about specific incidents happening at a location, but usually what I try and do is collect a wide sample of stories, and then generalize the types of experiences people claim to have. The reason for this is because I personally am a skeptic, and like to present the story in a somewhat neutral, unopinionated way so that people can make up their own mind. It a style I'm still evolving and working on :) And thank you again for your thoughtful comments!!
Hey Jonah, thanks for commenting! If you know some locations I've missed I'd love to hear about them so I can add them to my website! I'll look into the Bartlett Estate in the meantime though and appreciate the info!! 👻
Another home that may or may not be haunted is the Hale House on Hale St. Yellow house . Many nights I noticed what looked like someone looking out the second floor window. One night I spoke to the party living downstairs . He said he heard noises upstairs like some walking around . Not sure what I was looking at but it was weird .
Hey thank you so much for sharing that information!! I've added that location to my Haunted Massachusetts page on my website: www.ghostquest.net/haunted-places-massachusetts-usa.html I'd love to know if there's any others you know of that I might have missed!! Thank you again!! 👻
I met Baron La Croix on my back porch after opening a gate to Jigoku. He banged his cane on the step and a strange animated picture similar to ones drawn for Loa wrapped around the banister and disappeared as he walked down the steps. He gave me a slight nod and turned the corner and I never saw him again there. Another time a female krabinay, a supposedly evil voodoo spirit dressed in red appeared. Among other things....
@@GhostQuestUSA_TV beverly ma, right across the water from Salem. I found lots of oddly placed bones in the back yard and I'm fairly certain the former tenants daughter upstairs was dabbling with Voodoo, or Santeria, or Palo Mayombe. Baron is very much a gatekeeper to the underworld and I was working the Qlipphoth really heavily at the time.

@@GhostQuestUSA_TV Thank you for answering my question. Best of luck to you with your future endeavors!
Too spooky for me!
Idk Brian-there are some seriously haunted places in Beverly, including my apartment (which is inside of the old Bartlett Estate in Centerville).

Beverly is haunted by the spirit of Amy Carnevale, when she was murdered by Jamie Fuller.

Wow spooky! Where was that? 👻
